I would not recommend this business to my enemies. Phoned in and got a price on 2 items, with arrival the price went up by 3 times to what i was qouted. The owner is never around and tge same person answer the calls even if yiu select to speak to the office.

I went to Lopec on the 3rd July 2021 after someone had recommended them. But first I communicated with Rebecca to ask whether they had what I was looking for as I did not want to drive for nothing. Rebecca indeed confirmed that they have what Im looking for which was a badge/emblem for my astra at a price of R300. When I got there instead, I got the shock of my life as the emblem was there, but some guy not sure whether he is Indian or Coloured but dark in complex wanted to sell me a bumper in its entirety for R3500 cracked as it was. I showed him my correspondence with Rebecca confirming the availability of the product but he could not careless and gave me an ultimatum which was a take it or leave it and I left it of course because I was only there for an emblem worth R300 as confirmed by them. I dont want to lie but I am extremely disappointed in them as they made me drive for nothing after confirming availability.2. So the owner just responded swiftly saying they will look into the matter and contact me. I must say I appreciate the swiftness of the response as I await their contact.

I recently bought an accelerator pedal for my Opel Corsa 1.4 Essentia 2013 (D range), it was constantly going into limp mode especially when the weather was cold, I took it for diagnostic and was told the Accelerator Position Sensor was faulty and had to be replaced. I contacted Lopec on facebook and they responded very quickly to tell me a spare accelerator pedal for my vehicle was available and was given a quote, went there 2 days later to make the purchase & boom my problem is sorted, the accelerator pedal I bought (which comes with the position sensor) works like a charm, as I write this its been a little over a week since I bought the pedal and fitted it and my car has not gone into limp mode since. Thank you very much Lopec, your spares are the best and extremely affordable, I cant thank you enough 👍👍👍

We bought a engine with startup guarantee or 30 day warranty.We could not fit the engine in 30 days due to covid and half of our staff being absent.When we did fit it the engine was it battled to start and was smoking badly.We contacted them and they would not replace the engine.R15000 wasted now we have to buy another engine.Does that seem fair?

Wonderful service. Jacques at Lopec was the only person I spoke to who knew about this one peculiarity with mirrors on the Chevy Aveo and was able to assist me.I had to buy new mirrors for my car and found out there were different mirrors for different model cars. Even differences on the same year models between the hatchback and sedan. At 5 other shops I went to, nobody had seen or heard of this before. Even when phoning before going and being assured the mirrors will fit, I found that they in fact did not. Showing the technicians at the other shops the original mirrors and having the measure it, they were still confused as to how this could be the case.

Hi There to all, i have been buying spares from Lopec for many years now there is no question that they do sell a fair product and depending on there moods the staff can be very helpful if they want to be.There is no Constant at Lopec, The 1st problem is i would like to know who the hell in in charge there because its like all the staff are the bosses and even when us clients are right your staff will argue as if they know more than the buyer or mechanics that fit the parts, HAVE YOU NEVER HERD OF (THE CLIENT ARE ALWAYS CORRECT). 2nd Even with the fair QUALITY parts that are sold YOUR PRICES ARE CRAZY, there is no balance to your pricing at all i have been fixing Opels for more than 10 years now and buying from various second hand dealers in the east rand and Pretoria. i took the time to day after calling for a price to check your reviews to confirm my suspicions. So im writing to you knowing that NOTHING WILL BE DONE ABOUT IT, to say those running Lopec need to be fired because as far as i can see all that they want is not to give a quality service at fair prices but to make as much money as possible without any concern to the client at all. Please people if you think you have gotten a great deal here chances are they have ripped you off. Lastly they know you cant get certain parts anywhere other than the agents and they use this to there advantage to RIP people off. So i say to Kind Sir/Mam that answers all the concerns with (sorry for your experience we will look into it or we will take this up with our staff) who is in charge there certainly not you as nothing ever changes and if you have any shred of decency save your reply as you and i both know that im correct, if you cant change what is happening there then why do you answer...Kind RegardsCraig Mommsen
