My dad was at Cedar Manor Centurion at the beginning of the year, and it was the best decision we made for him and for us. He was treated with such kindness, love and care which was also extended to our family as well. Cedar Manor made his final days comfortable and bearable, and we will be forever grateful to everyone there who looked after him so well. God bless everyone at Cedar Manor to be able to continue their good work.

Ill be completely honest, I dont feel like my mother-in-law enjoyed her last months at Cedar Manor.. The staff are only there for the pay-check and it shows in their care

My Dad spent his last 9 months at cedar manor before he passed away in March this year. I cannot begin to expresss my thanks, gratitude and peace of mind to all the loving, dedicated and caring staff at the house. My dad was a fairly complicated case as he was in the very late stages of glaucoma and his eye sight was severely compromised as well as his mobility quite restricted. Nothing was ever too much effort for them to do for him. They went above and beyond for my dad every day and he was always comfortable and cared for. This was a peace of mind money could not buy and we as a family were assured of.Lance Kibel, owner, would always say to me “that’s what we do with dignity and respect” no questions asked, whenever I called him to discuss something.Sr. Maryna always goes beyond the call of duty with an extremely high work ethic and utmost respect and integrity in caring for the aged.Sr. Winnie, another true gem, was always our ray of sunshine and hope and a one in a million angel sent to the manor.We could go there any time of the day or night and were welcomed and never turned away.I would highly recommend Cedar Manor and their caring staff and facilities.In loving memory of John Frederick Shelley 22:11:1939-07:03:2020 🖤

I just want to say thank you to all Cedar Manor Staff and Management. My grandmother has been at Cedar Manor for a month now. Whenever we visit we are always met with friendly proficient staff. My grandmother is a dementia patient and it is not easy on the family. I just want to say Sister Maryna, Winnie, Sarah you guys are awesome. Lance I just want to say you are doing a great job especially when it comes to the caring of my grandmother. keep up the good good work.

My mum Nalanie spent 6 months at Cedar Manor before she sadly passed away. I have to thank the staff for their patience and compassion. It was always a pleasure being met by friendly, caring staff. Mum never adjusted well to being away from home but the patience and love shown to mum by the Cedar staff does not go unappreciated.Thank you Lance, Maryna, Winnie and the team for all your love and support.I will highly recommend your facility and staff.

Ive experienced friendly staff , going the extra mile when I requested something. The food they serve is good and varies. I know that they will do what is necessary in case of an emergency because there is an on premises nurse.

My mom spent nearly 2 years at Cedar Manor once her Dementia had progressed to a point where we were not able to care for her effectively. With trepidation I started looking for a care facility for her, after May visits to various facilities I decided on Cedar Manor. Lance and his team embraced mom and I and made her feel welcome and safe. They also managed to manage me and my need to be involved in her daily routine. I recommend Cedar Manor as a facility as they are a small home from home facility so my mom felt home rather than in a home. My cousin came to Cedar Manor in Boksburg, from a home in Natal where he had been totally neglected. At the previous home he fell, he needed surgery and couldnt walk.Well, he wasnt too long in the Cedar Manor home care when Matron Maryna and her staff got him to walk again. He started to put on weight and was so happy to be in a caring environment. The staff are there all the time to care for the elderly and infirm to meet their needs. I can really recommend this home for peace of mind to know that these patients are loved taken care of. Thank you Cedar Manor and all the staff for the great work you are doing for our loved ones.

When we started looking for a place for our Father, we were so scared that he might end up somewhere where he is abused etc with all the stories that has been going on with our elderly people. We looked at many places but the day I walked into Cedar, I felt the love and caring immediately. My Dad was very weak when he moved in to Cedar Manor Boksburg December 2018. Within the first month he was a totally different person we could talk to him and he looked amazing. The staff are just such super amazing loving people. No words can describe how thankfull I am for everything that every one does for my Dad at Cedar Manor. This was the best decision I have made to move my Dad to you. Big big thank you to every one at Cedar Manor, thank you for taking such good care of my Dad.. You are all Angels

I am very unhappy that my husband Douglas was taken to hospital on May 2nd Thursday and we were not told. We had seen him on Wednesday 1st May and he was OK. He was taken to hospital the very next day but no-one called us from Cedar Manor to let us know that he was in hospital! I got a call from Sr Maryna on Sunday that he was critical in hospital - he had slipped into a coma. We rushed there but of course he never woke up again.He died on Wednesday 8th May. I got an email from Lance on the Friday 10th May saying that he was so sorry to learn that Douglas was not. doing well. WHAT????? He did not even know that Douglas had died 2 days earlier! The next issue was going to collect his belongings!!! to find a lot of things missing. When I complained Winnie told me I should be grateful for the way he was looked after.This has been a most painful experience for our family and I am thankful that Douglas is at peace now.

Lance are making promises and commitments which he cant keep. Always rude and he is the only busy person in the world. How could he possibly work with people?

My gran was transfered to Cedar Manor due to her severe dimensia. Her mental state is rapidly getting worse and this is a very difficult time for the entire family. Not only did Sr Maryna and the team welcome gran, they made themselves available to her on her comfort level... the amount of compassion and understanding this team has for the people they take care of everyday is inspiring. I would like to thank Lance, Sr Maryna and the entire Cedar Manor Advanced Care Team for realy going the extra mile... you have done more for my gran in her state then anyone in a very long time. The residents are well cared for in a clean and friendly environment... The stuff are always prepared to go the extra mild.It brings a warm glow to your heart knowing that your loved ones are being well cared for.
