Stayed here for a week, ABSOLUTELY AWESOME PLACE!!!! Accommodation was spotless, food was exceptional and the staff were super friendly and helping! Lovely pool area as well! Definitely a must! 😁

The directors have kept to their word and have refunded the monies due to my mom. As I said previously, a lovely place to stay and wouldnt hesitate to recommend it. Well done on following through with integrity!

I had an awesome time during my stay here and Mike the host is absolutely a wonderful host. I was there with family and friends. The place was clean when i arrived. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family and i am looking forward to visit again.

We had an awesome stay, the staff were very friendly, helpful and hospitable. If youre looking for a comfortable, easy going relaxed vibe at a very affordable price, I would defenitely recommend Africa on Sea. Looking forward to our next stay!

Terrible place to stayWe stayed over on 2018-07-07 and got to the place just before 16:00. Two hours after check in, there was confusion with the booking as the first thing when we arrived I had to pay then after she gave me the receipt that clearly indicated 4 people she took me to a room and asked if it was ok for me and my son. After explaining that we are 4 people as per the receipt the lady said she will try something. After a while we got another room, but the first room was not properly cleaned as it had earings on the floor( apparently students stayed over the night before), the one stand of the bed was broken and in our room there was a scrubbing stone and soap on the floor. The breakfast showed a full English breakfast from 7 to 10 and we got there just before 8 as we had an appointment but no-one spoke to us to explain why it was late or what was happening. Just after 8 muffins came but no cereals or yoghurt as reflected in the menu. I could not sleep as the free standing headboard made a noise every time I moved and there was only one sheet on the bed. We asked the lady for towels but as she was about to leave she left without bringing towels. We had to share towels with other rooms. I took the place based on Google reviews and therefore I am not sure of what the previous reviews found as my experience was terrible. The room we stayed in had mould on the walls. The place has potential but staff needs training. One cannot leave after the guests asked you for towels and it clashes with your time to go home early.

I booked 3 night from the 3rd of September checking out on the 6th of September. The lady I spoke to was very nice and professional. Siphiwo. She told me they were running a special in September. We made the eft payment and sent the POP. Requested that the breakfast be served at 06:30.and Siphiwo said its no problem it can be arranged. When I got to work on the 4th received an email from one of our project managers staying there we are going to move out of the Africa on Sea tomorrow morning. Two of the aircon in the rooms do not work, some electrical cables to the lamp were exposed. Mirror is missing in one bathroom. No hangers in the room, tiles missing in the shower and its dirty. Etc please cancel the remaining two nights and find us some other place to stay I immediately contracted the bnb and it was the first time I spoke to Chantelle, and unlike Siphiwo she was not professional or sweet. I explained the problem. She says that she was having problems with employees and that we were under charged for the rooms as she charges for more that what we were invoiced. She said she will go inspect the rooms and get back to me. She never got back to me, I had to call her again. She said we should have read the terms and conditions, we will not be getting a refund. She checked the rooms and the air cons were working, and one lamp just needed to be clipped back on, she doesnt understand what the fuss is about because the rooms were not dirty, and no we will not get a refund. And she had told Danie that she agrees that place is not up to standard and apologized and said they will get hold on me to pay back for the two night. Chantelle Conradie managing director /part owner doesnt know how to treat guest or even keep her word, book at on risk
