Visited during the December holidays and it was expectionally busy. There was no social distancing taking place and was so busy. Loved the offering in the store but was just way to busy for the general grocery store.

Small isles but a huge variety of products at great prices

Always make sure that you pay the right amount when products are at discounted price. It happened to me several times and when you call in to tell the manager they only have to say you must bring in your slip next time when shopping (as if you want to shop there again) and they will refund you. !!!! How many other clients get caught by this?

Only giving one star. As my friend had his phone stolen while being distracted by the accomplice. I fugured something was up and checked for his phone only to realize that its missing. I looked at the one man and said your phone is stolen the man who stole it handed back the phone back. Checkers you really need to improve your security.Oh and the use of signage to indicate where products are in which isle are completely incorrect.

Really big supermarket. They have almost anything that you would need. The place is clean. Their meat section needs a little bit of attention in terms of variety and availability. I do all my groceries there.

Need to open more pay points on a Saturday afternoon

Shop is clean. Some of the staff are not helpful and knowledgeable. Some will bump into you with trolleys into you or whilst walking I the isles without an apology. Some cashiers will have discussions with clients or the packers whilst one should wait to be attended to. Some are just not friendly and when you greet them they will not even respond to it.

Id forgotten how diverse a hypermarket is. This one looks very well lit and ventilated which is a huge BONUS to prevent covid infection. I bought a remote there for a fraction of the price next door

Cashiers Dimakatso gave me stinking attitude because I wanted to use my extra savings card, why do you have loyalty cards of your cashier dont even ask us about the instead she choose to argue, I always shop here but how she treated me Im so disappointed

Why do you sell customers food that has gone bad? The cupcakes I bought has gone stale, the muffins had mold on it, I wont even mentionthe smell the ham had, and the milk tart expired two days ago. People use the little money they have to buy your products that has gone bad. As for a refund, not everyone has the ability to make two trips to the store because of your negligence, make sure youre selling fresh food. If this was a one time thing Id write it off but this is bloody ridiculous.

Large modern centre with plenty of parking and a large variety of retailers. 3 restaurants, a deli, plenty of franchised clothing outlets, 3 of the most popular banks and a full compliment of auto tellers. With a Dischem, Woolworths, Checkers and take away facilities this is a one stop facility.

I visited the store this morning. Merchandise placed in the passages and in front of the tills makes social distancing impossible. Staff walking around with their masks hanging around their necks.

Well stocked open isles

They sold rotten eggs to me, and didnt even bother to apologize upon return/exchange. Customer care employee told me she didnt personally sell the eggs to me.

What a experience!!! Came form the northern suburbs to see how the checkers hyper is.... If you are prepared to wait 30 minutes in a cue then I guess its alright and the isles are so narrow you almost have to climb over the people...NEVER AGAIN!!! Would rather stick to Woolworths food.

Some of the most rude and arrogant staff you will ever come across, long ques and the staff stand around chatting away whilst you stand and wait. I made three different purchases from three different sections and three times out of three times I stood there waiting for the staff to finish their conversation before they helped me. I have long since stopped supporting checkers hyper in fleurdal. Was at checkers fleurdal again this weekend past accompanying a friend and received terrible service from a certain Princess there.Rude, arrogant, entitled and unhelpful to say the least. Spare yourself the drama and just go to pick n pay or something instead.

My son was called to come into the shop, 9 oclock, for a job oppertunity. We went to Checkers Hyper in Fleurdal and spoke to MM she wanted him to start immediately with training, we told her that he already have a prior appointment at 11 oclock, she indicated that he should be there the next day at 8 oclock. The next day, at 07H25, I dropped him off. MM then started shouting at him, infront of all the other staff members, that he is late because she told him to be there at 7 oclock?? She then used him as a packer at a till, where he had to stand from about 8 oclock until about 4 oclock and then she only gave him a 10 munite lunch whereafter he had to stand at a till again until 5 oclock, when he was told they can leave at 5 oclock. When he went to MM to ask her what time he should be there the next day, she then shouted at him saying that he can not leave, she will tell him when he can leave, and he can not leave untill all the tills had cashed up? He also heard her talking to other staff members, telling them that he is lazy? At about 6 oclock, after standing the entire day without proper lunch, MM told him that he does not have to come in the next day, and that Head Office have his number and they will call him if they need him... Yet, all the other people, that started the previous day and on the day he went there, all got contracts??I think that MM, as we believe is the Manager at that shop, was very unprofessional and gave the impression of only acting this way towards my son, that makes you think, if she is treating everybody that way?Now I can understand why there are so many customers complaing about the service they receive, especially at the tills. Maybe its because the staff acts the way towards the customers, as they see the Manager treat others, like my son??

I bought my monthly Centlec coupon at Checkers Hyperama, Bloemfontein and the token was revoked on my prepaid device at home due to a system failure at Centlec.The next day I went back to Hyperama to enquire how to redeem the revoked voucher and there I received service delivery from Jan vd Westhuizen I have never experienced before. Mr Jan vd Westhuizen used his private mobile phone to call a personal friend at Centlec because none of the other Centlec phones were being answered.Within a short time Centlec phoned me back with a new token number which I could load on my home device.Well done Jan vd Westhuizen for going above and beyond your duty while still managing many many other queries throughout. This is the service delivery that can make Mr Jan vd Westhuizen a senior manager. Great doing business with you 👍

I went to purchase a bus ticket at computicket and the lady assisting were not helpfull she did not even smile at me at the end it happened that she did not assist me with the correct bus times and i ended up getting to the bus station on the wrong time. Computicket or the bus line does not want to refund me and i am trying to get my refund on the ticket back from checkers. As the lady at the desk was supose to assist me and not just print the ticket with the wrong time of day.

Standing in line at the veg and hot food counter for over 15 minutes, staff working extremely slow while having a chat with each other not caring about the customers at all !! Finally got to the pay points just to reAlize there is not one pay point that acomódate a wheelchair ! Then when I manage to pay for my things I got over charged, I mentioned it to the cashier she was very arrogant about the situation so much that I paid left and went back the next day to solve the problem with customer care ! Very disappointed!!!

Im actually giving u guys ziltch star as per ratings...well what an awefull experience being chased out of ur shop with a friend of mine...stoped by for some shopping loading my trolley with itemz that I need....whilst at it an old white man,with spectacles grey hereand there pressumingly his manager searched our bags on floor talking in such a loud voice as if we stole or something....saying dat we were arrrested dnt knw when,and we...were nt allowed in any shoprite or checkers...confusing thou coz i was doing my shopping jst some time ago the time i was in BLOEM..SUCH A HUMILIATION!!!
