The care and diligence of staff at this home has made the extremely painful process of moving my Grandmother here (after living stubbornly on her own for 25 years), an absolute pleasure. After visiting multiple solutions, the people here genuinely seem to care. My grandmother was slipping quickly into dementia and is a strong willed woman, yet the people here seemed to acknowledge that fact and still treat her like a human being. Everywhere else she was exposed to treated her like a patient, instead of a respectable old lady with age issues. I can only hope that my wife gets such supportive service in her older years, and I really wish that men werent excluded (because I would really hope to be treated as well when I get to that age). How someone ever voted this place low is a disappointment, and can only be a disgruntled staff member. This home is not only reasonably priced (comparative to other places in Durban and surrounds) but takes excellent care of their charges.
