The accommodation was cramped. From eye view everything looked clean, Under the beds it looked as if it were not swept for days, the coffee containers where sticky and the coffee was hard. Coffee and sugar provided.... definitely not. The Bar Fridge froze all our salad and fruits. Two of our personal items disappeared out of the accommodation and no cctv cameras on premises.

Safe and secure, nice views. Friendly service and clean bedding. There was bits and pieces hidden away in the room, like an old computer screen and stuff and some furniture could be replaced. Overall pleasant experience would recommend if traveling on a budget.

For the price, this was a bargain. My husband and i have been well cared for here. The staff are friendly helpful and the accommodation is clean, tidy and comfortable. I will definitely book here again.

The service was very terrible, we had called in to check in a bit earlier and we were told that there no extra charges, as soon as we had arrived we had to purchase R800 extra so be able to get in. When we all decided that we wanted to cancel our booking we were told that we wouldnt receive our payment back without finding people to replace us. Their quotation, and website doesnt explain much information , their staff dont give guest the right information.They water had a certain time of getting of like around 3ams. We didnt enjoy our stay it was far away from the beach shops restaurants. We are told that we not supposed to make noise after 22.00. I mean we here to have fun and not so silk around like we are at home. .

The toilets were a bit dirty when we first arrived. Also, the water turned cold on the second day. On our last night a couple arrived at the house saying theyd also booked a room. However, the rooms were all full. The person staying there to help us only showed up on the first night and on the morning when we were closing the gate to leave.We didnt have any assistance from him whatsoever throughout our stay. I would recommend that they improve their service by cleaning the house thoroughly and do the same to the cutlery and crockery.The stay deserves only an average rating.

The best place you can be in Durban. It may be far from commercial location but trust me, u ll love the house, it feels like home. Its vry well maintained and so beautiful. On to of that, Shirley is a darling to help all the time.

Clean and affordable accommodation but a little bit of a distance from Durban city center and the beach.

Would have given a better rating but - the bathroom door has no latch, so you cant close the door properly, the toilet door does not close, we were 5 people, but used towels were not replaced, no toilet roll holders, the constant noise of tumble dryers and washing machines, cockroaches in the bathroom, cracked coffee mug, very evident that old and very used cutlery, crockery and kitchenware and furniture were put in the house. The parking allowed was not adequate. The ceiling fan in the front bedroom is very noisy and unbalanced, although the one in the extra sleeping area was good. In short, will not go there unless major maintenance was done and furniture upgraded.

The place is nice and clean also quite. The staff is welcoming, many thanks to Ailton, the transporter who made our trip more enjoyable.

Great place but please beware of the surroundings....I got robbed just outside the place in May...make sure stay indoors or when you decide to take a walk make sure you are not alone...its a great place..but the Glenmore area is not safe at all.
