This is my favourite place!This gem is run by a beautiful soul named Thomie. He has created a safe space for the LGBTI community and a home for up and coming performers.Anyone can walk and feel welcome. I have walked in alone many times, and within minutes strangers treated me like family. It has a wonderful place to meet interesting people and to learn about others. The regulars will find you and make you feel at home.It has a very intimate theatre. Here you can find stand up comedy every Sunday. There are many great theatre productions with award winning actors and a year end adult pantomime that is a not-to-be-missed. Thomie is very active in nurturing talent and dedicates his time and expertise to help anyone and everyone. He has a passion to build up performers and to create a Durban filled with talent.They have very interesting, fun party nights. From game nights to fancy dress to screenings of Mr. SA to drag shows! People of all ages join in to celebrate. Bring your picnic baskets and dance and sing along!This venue is more of a lounge than a club. If you are lucky, Thomie will let you be DJ for the night!It also hosts private events.The venue is in an alley way, but there is plenty of friendly car guards and it is very safe. Even as a young woman, I am comfortable walking to my car.If you wanna find an intimate venue with the best, open minded and talented people, be sure you make a stop a Altitude.

Amazing Venue: We hosted a bridal shower at Club Altitude and it was exactly what we were looking for. Central location, enough space to play games, eat, dance (comes with a sound system) , play pool and relax. The host Ashaad was brilliant, catered to our needs, helped setup, DJ and barman. We will definitely use this venue again for other event. Thank you so much.

A bit quiet but it is understandable because of the curvue a nice venue people must maybe just try to communicate with strangers who are regulars and not to think they need to take them to bed if they are more friendly but I like the place and Thomy the owner I take my hat off. For him because he is a very good guy and helpful with especially strangers and concern about them
