We arrived late but the spa was very accommodating.Lovely place but just needs some attention to details from staff. We booked the hot press compression massage for 2. The room was freezing and there was no remote to put the ac off. Mid way through the massage they offered to change rooms. The music was so loud in our room that you dont even feel relaxed. The therapists left massaging over 10 times during to fill water in the steamer and have a chat and knocking over things. Overall experience was unsatisfactory. Which is a shame because Ive been before at the old premises and the experience was great.

The set up is ok and the front desk staff were friendly but the massage is dreadful. The masseuse didnt really speak English properly so communicating was even quite difficult 😂

First time at this spa. Booked upperlip and eyebrow wax/thread for myself and my sister. This was our first waxing since lockdown. The therapist left the room three times to get her equipment, one of the items being the wax pot...Mmm....why were you not ready for us?We had to request that she keep her mask on...and she proceeded to tell us that she then will not be able to cool the wax by blowing on it. Hellooo....covid!!!At the reception desk no signs of sanitizer at all...we had to request it...and they used one of the bottles that they are selling in the front....again not readily available.Needless to say we were both disappointed but even more so when I got home to find that my eyebrows were waxed differently...hence I know have one thinner than the other!!!

Mariam and Faried is such friendly people, massages are also extremely awesome, deep tissue was awesome!The staff is always friendly and helpful and the Spa is well maintained.It is a must to visit here as the only other placed we experienced such good authentic Thai Massages was in Thailand.

The bathrooms arent very clean and they have a horrible odour. However, the treatments are amazing and conducted with absolute excellence.

This review is for deep tissue massage only on Jan 07 2019. Bunga staff was courteous and able to accommodate us (my friend and I) on such short notice. The reception as well as the massage room was clean though we did have to request to turn the air condition on before the massage began.Thandeka (my masseuse) was amazing as she knew which knots and muscles to work with. She was so thorough and her massage strokes were pain relieving and relaxing. Her demeanor was professional and she took her time to provide comfort and satisfaction for the massage service. You are in for treat by Thandeka if you enjoy deep tissue massage, her hands have magic. It was the perfect way to unwind my trip in South Africa!

Below average. Went in for a mani and gelish pedi... the mani was perfect - lady was friendly and professional. What spoilt my experience was the pedi session - gel was runny we had to redo everything (granted it wasnt necessarily the ladys fault), I ended up leaving without the gelish due to my toes hurting, even bleeding slightly from the removal of the gelish, as for her colleagues? Extremely unprofessional. Having loud convos in the room right next door, another lady even joining our session, distracting the lady working on me and making snide remarks. Totally unacceptable! Hope they resolve their issues soon, or theyll lose out on potentially loyal customers.

I am really disheartened to have to change my review from a 5 star to a 1 star. Based on the wonderful service and experience we experienced on my last visit in September which had been my first time, as well as my husbands experiences - a frequent client at bunga, we made an appointment for a facial, mani and pedi. To say that this was the worst treatment we had was an understatement! The therapists were haphazard, and seemed to not really be executing the treatment as was expected, based on previous experiences. The mani and pedi was painful! The therapists were not gentle at all and left our fingers and toes bruised and bleeding! The cherry on the top was when we got home, my nails had a slight shine, yet my husband had none!The facials were just as bad. Its a common practise for the therapists to enquire if you were looking for a specific brand treatment, and to check if one has any allergies which might flare up with the use of a certain product. None of those occurred. And when it came to extracting black heads, the therapists were not gentle in the least!As a general, unsaid rule, Whatever is going on between owners and staff is not the publics business, so long as the service and standards are maintained at all times. Bad mouthing previous owners/staff is really unprofessional and leaves one with a bad taste in ones mouth... I for one will never be returning despite the new manager/owners placating, discount that we never requested and poor excuses.

Completely forgettable experience with Lebo, compounded by the arrongance and rudeness of Mariamme when advised of Lebos lackluster pedicure.Paid for an hour long pedicure and received 40 minutes of apathetic treatment.Disgraceful theft ....not the relaxing treatment i expected.
