Distillery 031 is one of the best venues in Durban. Their award winning gins, and liquors are second to none. Their team are fantastic and its definitely a must, when in kzn. The venue can be rented for private parties, functions and events. You can also visit their website to buy their local drinks and or subscribe to their monthly box. Its amazing. Durban has a gem, and this is it.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. Didnt have food, just enjoyed the drinks. A little pricey though. Drinks are very strong. Awesome venue and ideal for large groups, but also works for couples. Remember to organise an Uber!

Excellent service, everyone who works here is knowledgeable, attentive and excited about the product. The drinks are delicious and unique. Recommend the gin fizz. The food is the bomb. The slaw, the burgers, masterful and innovative use of flavor. Definitely give this place a try.

Beautiful interior for dining but not so nice bathroom. Competent bartenders. Could use more black customers thats not to say its an exclusionary space.

Quite a unique experience for Durban. Hipster-style bar in the likes of Cape Town bars weve seen for a while, but new to Durban. The gin - produced on-site, is delicious. Situated in the up and coming Station Drive, check it out on First Thursdays or on the weekend.

Great place to have a function or night out.staff very helpful and friendly,food was great and place clean and tidy.Only issue is the parking which is a bit limited.

Authentically local. Amazing food and beer. Feels like you belong. Staff are friendly and service is fast. Clean, tidy dining area and bar. Parking is a little difficult to find when its busy so rather carpool or uber especially if youre going to drink. Toilets are clean and well maintained. Definitely a place to keep going back to.

Place was closed, they no longer have a restaurant despite advertising it on the site and the person there was less than helpfull. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!!!!

Good atmosphere, drinks are ok. One time we went and the music was just way too loud so it didn’t seem like a chill place to sit and chat without screaming. During the day was Perfect.

Great, airy spot, fab cocktails. The barrel aged gin is superb.

Their cocktails are really good. I had the full gin tasting and fell in love with the taste of their own product Vanilla Baobab Spirit Aperitif. Hibiscus Gin Fizz was also very good. And even if you go for a classic choice like Gin and Tonic they use a tonic that they produce as well which they named as ‘tonic cordial’ and moves the good old Gin and tonic to a whole new level. Totally recommend! The only thing that bothered me was they don’t tell you very much when you are tasting the drinks and just leave you alone with a piece of paper that has very little info about the products. But everything you want to know about these drinks are on the internet as well and if you are the nerdy type like myself then you can overcome this like myself here. Totally recommend!

You cant go to the Station Drive Precinct without going to Distillery 031. Do yourself a favour and have one of the cocktails made with their signature spirits and liqours, you cant go wrong with any of them.
