No prices on items in the store. This is ridiculous. You have to go an ask the price for every single item. This is nonsense. Then a sales person at the sales back counter tries to negotiate with you into a better pricing etc as it is a bargain. When you go straight to the counter, the cashier cannot even give you the price of the item. You have to get some price at the back counter. This is nonsense for a franchise. You will expect this from a mom and pops store, not a Midas.

Location is good. Has enough parking. I seldom have to wait to find a slot. Store us a bit gloomy because of renovation. Found this branch to usually have stock. Queue management at the counter needs some attention.

With Midas youll never go wrong

I called there twice, the first time the guy asked me to hold on after 5 minutes, he comes back, I can hear him and he hangs up. So, I called back the guys asks me to hold on, doesnt put me on hold, I can hear him talking to customers and then talking to other staff then answering his cellphone. I literally waited for 7 minutes before hanging up myself. Very unprofessional people work here, youre much better off with the Midas in Durban North, further away but a far superior customer experience. Spares on Sparks (S.O.S.) is also another better alternative. These guys are making too much money, they dont need mine, clearly.

I went to buy a car battery, got it at a good price. The only thing I wasnt too happy about is that there was no assistance to fit the battery onto my vehicle. I had to do it myself there because I had traded in my old battery. If I was a person with no technical background I could have been stranded because the time was 5pm when the shop was closing. I think Midas can have a better plan on batteries. At battery centre, they do it all for me while I had my hands in my pocket.

The only reason I always use to go there was because of their reasonable prices but Ive noticed recently they have made the blixem degreaser I use very expensive I use to pay R34 for a small 500ml I pay R52 and that is ridiculous I went there today to buy a 5liter of blixem degreaser and I came with R176 and I found out that the big blixem now cost R222 and it has been 176 for a 5 liter all this time so in the end of the day i could only get one 500ml and 2 liters and it costed more than what i use to pay for a 5liter it costs R179😡😡

Midas .. hmmm. My advice is get the phone number of the branch BEFORE you visit them .. Then if you need any help on the floor with products, you can phone one of the assistants. There seem to be about 5 or 6 guys behind the counters all very busy on phones or something, no help or service otherwise.

This store would have been afforded 5 stars as the service and competence of the salesman Luke was above and beyond even with a non-functioning computer system and the bevy of clients hounding him (re-fab in progress apparently) but as for that troll of a register clerk who rings you up, a serious pass on her ability to be vaguely professional. Otherwise, give them a shot!

I have on 2 occasions visited,this particular Midas store. The store should be made an online or self service shop, as there where on both occasions NO STAFF on the sales floor to assist in answering our queries.The personal, whom I think are technical salesmen, sit behind computers, busy with, I have no idea. Even when one of them spot a customer, they are glued to their computers and when approached to aak advice or about a product, all a person get is a un friendly face and a ,dont know
