I was there yesterday and the lady at the door was incredibly rude. She was chewing gum loudly during our interaction where she did not return a friendly greeting. Lastly, whilst spraying my hands with hand sanitizer, she said in an aggressive tone: What do you want? and I didnt say anything and she responded saying why are you here. The shop was empty so it was like she didnt want any customers in the shop.The rest of the staff were fine.

I wish Id gotten his name, but I was helped by the most warm, knowledgeable man. Payment was quick, and hassle free. I would definitely recommend them!

What a horrible experience. Ive always bought and sold using this branch and couldnt complain albeit I found them a tad stingy. I just went in there to sell two practically new hair appliances (used once, still in box etc) and was planning on spending that money there anyway to buy toys for my little girl. The buyer didnt even open the boxes and just told me they not buying this anymore. Which I know is rubbish as I had bought something similar not two months previously. But I accepted it and decided to browse inside as well. Lo and behold, not only did they have several other hair appliances, but they were in horrendous condition in comparison to what I was offering them. Utterly disappointed and disgusted.

If you can make a trip, go to the Davenport Cash Crusaders. Though the Overport branch is neater, the Davenport branch stocks a much wider range of products, accessories and other items you didnt know you need. Definitely friendlier and much more helpful staff at that too.

This particular cash crusaders is dark and unpleasant. In particular, the buying section. The buyers are very arrogant, and through my extensive independent and undercover research, almost 80% of potential buys are turned down. So do they only focus on buying brand new goods directly from suppliers and reselling those items like a normal retail shop to turn a profit? It looks as if this is the case. No matter what you try to sell them(as a member of the public), be it second hand or brand new, in high demand or not, they will always come up with an old engraved, outdated, used car salesman excuse to pay you the tiniest amount they can for your product or not make a purchase at all. Although we can all agree that they have to use these tactics, as it depends on the survival of the business, no progress to a new level of bargaining has been achieved; hence, the cloud of doom(summoned upon by an old obsolete way of thinking) is hanging over these guys. It seems as if the so called buyers are merely puppets who are always controlled by the owner who is always on site. And if you fortunate enough, you will catch a glimpse of Brandon the big isuzu driving khaki pants wearing bafoon, who happens to be the guy thats dragging the brand name through the mud with his aggressive attitude towards members of the public who approach his store to sell their goods. One wonders how these Orania mentality backwards trashbags are even still in business. No wonder they always getting robbed.

Customer service is horrible. I phoned them regarding the prices for something and told them to keep it aside for me.when I go to the shop the door is closed even though it wasnt time for them to close yet and when I tried to call a guy to talk to him they all just looked at me and ignored me.I stood there for a few minutes waiting for guys to come talk to me but they continued to ignore me even though there were still customers in the shop and it wasnt their closing time as yet. They then proceeded to threaten me to go away from the door when all I wanted to do was just talk. I have spoken to the mall manager and I have told him about this matter. The workers completely ignored me even though it wasnt time for them to close yet. They advertise one time on their website but dont stick to it this is very horrible customer service.

I spent 20 minutes in the store picking out PlayStation games while the worker helped me, only to get to the counter and then he tells me I need to be 21 to buy it. Will never come to this place again or suggest it to someone

Seriously Pathetic Service! The Manager has an arrogant better-than-thou attitude. Dont bother buying anything here because when you want to return anything he will tell you that you have no right to return it once bought when the Consumer Protection Act clearly states that anyone has 5 days cooling-off-period to change their mind for a transaction.My colleague recently bought a baby car seat 2nd hand. He got home and his wife had also bought one from Game brand new. She insisted he take the 2nd hand one back. When he did so... the store refused and the manager simply ignored his request and made him feel like an idiot.

Excellent service

This store never adheres to stipulated closing times! They always close earlier. I phoned in today and was told that they close at 2pm. I got there at 1.45pm to find the shop in darkness, all locked up and no sign of the staff. Head office needs to be notified of this
