An OK bunny chow. Fast service. Limited facilities and a bit basic. But good value.

This little place is cafe curry eating. You shouldnt expect to find a butter chicken, tikka masala or Vindaloo. This is more home of South African malay style standard: well made, balanced curry or breyani. The portions a extremely generous, neither my brother nor i could finish our meals! Looks like they make their curries on certain days and not others or there is some kind of roster by which you might get something reheated. Call and find out. their Bunnychows looked full to the brim and their sambals are super refreshing with live chilli. The woman who served us cheerfully and respectfully chastised us for not eating enough🤣 altogether a fun little lunch. Quickly in and out.Ah! Their lamb samoosas are worth another visit, i think.Special mention to the gentleman at the till for excellent, customer forward, suggestions and tips.

Food is good except portions are not consistent. Specials are your normal prices.

Am giving it a 4 instead of 5star bcoz though their food is really amazing I think they need to work on their service. When I was there I ordered my food & sat down waiting for it. 30mins later I was shocked why people that came after me were getting their orders ahead of me & i had to ask & wala the lady with an attitude tells me your food was ready longtime. Like really so why were u not giving it to me😐😐

Probably one of Benonis best kept secrets. Real Durban curry. Very affordable and I am yet to get a bad meal from them. They always have vegetarian options available as well.This is an update on my previous review. Tonight was the first time that I felt that I didnt get value for money. I ordered a lamb curry without rice or a roti for R 70.00 and got a tiny portion. Not all that happy.

Ordered butter chicken take away, only to get chicken bunny chow. Decided to try the bunny chow, however it was too salty and heavily over spiced. Unpalatable to say the least. When I phoned the restaurant to complain the employee shouted at me. Very disappointed with the service.

Pathetic. The person at the counter was rude to my wife and point blankly refused to help with any request. They can go suck eggs if they want to employ people who do not have any clue of Customer service. There are plenty of other food places who will give you good service.

Had a cornish chicken bunny, gravy and potato was very tasty, chicken was tough and needed a bit more cooking.

Had the mutton Breyani. Wow it was delicious and the service was also good. I will go there again without a doubt.

They great food during the week but dont buy their Friday breyani specials. Got chicken breyani special, when I ate it the rice was off. So I called them and in a nutshell the aunty cooking it told me that she cooked it this morning so it was definitely fresh. Eventually she agreed to send someone to fetch it - when the uncle gets to my office he tells me that everybody who was eating there had the same food and they didnt complain and if I dont like it - I have options and should go and eat somewhere else, and this is what every other restaurant tells you and I should do the same. Extremely disappointed cause this was our favorite lunch time spot - this is considering that 2 weeks ago I bought the same chicken breyani special and it had a fly in it - not once did I ask for a refund instead still bought samosas. Very disappointed.

The biryani was almost spoilt you could smell that it was made in the morning and not put in the fridge.
