Very nice gym, equipment almost like new. staff where friendly and helpful. vast array of equipment available, on 2 levels. the only thing the gym is lacking is a Track to run on and a pool. but never the less definitely recommend.

My experience I love everything about the place the savice absolute perfect

It’s a big gym. They got everything you need. Outside they have a supplement shop. Smoothie bar inside which is nice. The trainers are all extremely friendly and very helpful. Always sport on the televisions and the water available. They have lockers to take a shower and store clothes. All and all a good gym.

Fantastic work out today. The daily 8am to 9am Monday to Friday is awesome. You have a full body workout.

Nice gym but needs a bit of upgrading when compared to other Planet Fitness.

Ive experienced rude, impatient and unprofessional receptionists who dont communicate new protocol. Sales staff dont take new members around the gym in a professional way, they say you can read the instructions on the machines and rush you along. That happened twice. The cleaners enter your personal space and start cleaning machines while youre using them. Social distancing isnt being adhered to since we moved to Level 1 in March, especially in the stretching and cardio areas which are both too small versus the number of people who use them. Not to mention that the air conditioning doesnt work. Overall, its become an uncomfortable experience going to this gym!

Nice gym. Except for a pool they have all you need.

I close my account in October or 2020 and even after contacting them countless times I am still being debited every month.. absolute rubbish do not join once you sign up you will pay forever..

Nice environment, just the weights are not being packed away like they should be and I feel the staff members should be coming around and telling members to put it in the cleaning area. The weights pile up in the designated cleaning area. Even when the club is quiet it piles up.

Very good gym at an affordable price. The gym has all exercise equipments youd ever need plus personal trainers and at times they host special classes to help with fitness. They also have a big steam room which is very helpful after a gym session.

Rude and incompetent staff. My friends and I received vouchers for a free trial week , however one of the lazy staff at reception did not type our codes in and we were accused of trying to swindle the gum for free gym time. Definitely a no no.

Poor after sales service! This was on three separate conditions on three separate contracts. So this is not a biased review as both occasions were months apart from each other. They just want your money and your pen to paper. After that - you are on your own! It is more like Planet Fake of Planet Junk!

Was with them for 10 years. They cancelled my contract because I queried a clause in their contract regarding their price increase.Quick to sell you a contract but the after sales service is non existent.Goodluck in trying to query an issue with them.They just refer you to head office where they will never reply your emails or resolve your issue.As useless as a pigs arse.Must pay joining fees again for a contract they cancelled.Its all about money for these guys.

I absolutely love to come to your gym! To me its the place to be everyday. I love relieving stress there everyday but one of your personal trainers has the habit of discussing other clients with clients. I heard him speaking about me clearly saying that I think too much of myself. There I was minding my own business. I know guys twice and thrice his size. Im only saying this because I dont want him saying stuff like that about other clients and potentially losing his teeth. His name is Johan and him discussing me really made it an unpleasant evening. Thank you for allowing me to say so.

Worst service ever. They do not inform you about the contract details, please read your contract (which is very tiny little gibberish letters) carefully before you sign. If you want to cancel, send them an email and dont call their useless call centre as advised by the consultants because they require written letter or email. They will accommodate all your requests first (like taking a minor without further documentation and a minor not accompanied with guardian like in a case of my 16 year old brother) but then they will request more work for you to do after you sign the contract. NO PERSONAL TRAINING. Will never get back to use your pathetic services which are all lies and will never recommend your services. No wonder why youre classified as scam on TrueCaller...

Bad service and organizational skills, Staff not very helpful and bathrooms not clean. Only 1 person tried to assist, but overall bad people skills.

Excellent facilities, great atmosphere, friendly fellow patrons, privacy, everbody minds their own business, clean change rooms / shower facilities and Sauna. Highly recommended. Wellness Manager really knows his stuff.

Planet Fitness (Lakefield) can be accessed via the N12 in both directions ,ie from Boksburg & Springs or from Bonaero Park (using Atlas Road) or Brakpan (using Heidelberg Road). This is a very well equipped gym with a machine/apparatus for the beginner as well as for the regulars.The ambience is great and the people in charge are warm & friendly. There are plenty of lockers in the mens changerooms as well as a steam bath , clean toilets & urinals that meet stringent health standards.The peak periods are from 06h00 to 09h00 & 16h00 to 19h00 , the times in between are truly great to be at the gym and train at leisure.So ,if you are not a member as yet , pay them a visit and judge for yourselves ,I promise that you wont be disappointed.

Gym facilities are excellent. Closing Times could be better. Admin is really poor. Debit order with them is asking for trouble.

Damages equipment. (Injured many knee on treadmill because they just cut out mid sprint, been unable to run for months). Terrible management. Some ride staff. They do have a lot of equipment. Lots of classes although proper safety is not implemented.
