Went there for some breakfast, ended up having some lunch instead. Breakfast menu was not so interesting.Their milkshake was very nice, I like the kids outdoor area and the food was just okay, nothing special about it I am afraid.Service and hospitality was amazing.Not a bad place, food could be better though.

What a disappointment! Weve been passing the sign on Pretoria Road that boasts about the best, most famous Lamb Curry and shanks. When we eventually decided to visit the restaurant we were met with numerous regrets. Regret, Shanks out of stock. Regret, beer out of stock. No. No. No. Not the way to run your business. Will never ever return.

It was very quiet, service was quick, food was tasty. No complaints on venue. However just as I was leaving a beggar came and hassled me to buy paper bookmarks. I dont appreciate being in a private place and then being bothered. This should not be allowed in the restaurant.

The food was awful, bland and had zero inspiration. But the coffee was nice.

Great place if you smoke. We sat outside and every table had a smoker on it. ( we don’t smoke) then the staff from the shops in the centre stand and smoke outside the shops. Moved inside to get away from the smell to leave smelling like cooking oil.

Bad Bad service, my cup was dirty and the next cup was put infront of me with out a saucer or spoon. The waiter took so long we ended up going to the counter to pay.Wasnt the only ones to complain while waiting for my waiter to return I heard 2 other tables complaining they had been waiting for there food for over fourty minutes already! Hope the service improves.

Jerrys Cafe will never see me again. Our table was dirty, food order was incorrect and it was not even different. Our bread was so hard you could not even cut it with steak knife.chicken was dry I did not think we would get biltong chicken. My sister found some interesting metal piece in her food. Owner replay, oh so sorry. NEVER AGAIN

Sad to say that since Jerry’s passing the service is not the same. Food takes long to arrive , on this occasion the shop was not busy. Having our office close by to Jerry’s means that take outs are ordered but I have found that the food doesn’t always taste fresh or it has been left standing too long before being delivered.My rating has dropped from a previous post on this establishment.

Well the service was less than enthusiastic considering I was the only one there at 8.15am. Also I ordered a cheese, ham and tomato sandwich on brown which took ages to get to me. Wasnt impressed.

Lovely place for a good healthy, fair priced meal with friends and family. My first time and I was suitably impressed. Great ambience, lovely interior and delicious food well presented. Waiters /waitresses very attentive and friendly. A great recommend.

Cappuccino coffee (So called) tastes like boiled milk. Usually served like warm unless you make a fuss. They dont give you the option of low fat milk either and you always have to ask if you want sweetener. Only reason for going there is play area to keep the grandchild occupied

The owner and entrepreneur Jerry died of throat cancer recently. But his son Gerry has taken over and is a very likeable persona. The quality of the food served remains and it is well worth a visit if one is in that area. RIP Jerry

After almost getting killed by peanuts in my milkshake (not indicated on menu) I was quite negative. However, the food was very nice. Moderately priced. Will probably be back.

Service was very prompt and friendly. I enjoyed my espresso and orange juice, the menu is quite extensive for such a small establishment, I must say I was impressed with that as well as the prices, very reasonable. I ordered a toasted ham cheese and tomato. The ham tasted more like polony, very disappointed with that. The decor is very unique and cosy

Waiters seem completely uninterested in serving anyone; the service leaves a lot to be desired. Everyone I have spoken to has had nothing but bad experiences and feedback about this shop.It is a real shame - from the outside, the shop looks vibrant and inviting. However, this is all let down by the poor service.Manager - please take note and step in - you have a great business here that is going down the drain.

The food is good and well priced but the waiters are very unfriendly and unhelpful. It feels like everything is an effort for them. Also the kiddies play area seating is the same as the smokers, so I have a sore throat and a headache from having to breath in all the smoke, not to mention how bad it is for the children playing. These really need to be made into two separate sections.

Jerrys caters for all age groups and budgets. They have 2 cafes in the same vanicity. The main outdoor lifestyle cafe atmosphere is great for kids and family which you can also reserve for your own special ocassion.

First visit back to Jerrys Cafè after his passing was extremely disappointing, food sub-standard, poor attention to detail poor customer service, wont be returning.

I go here often with my wife and kids because the food is always on point. They have a few Banting menu items and will change any meal to your specific tastes. The staff are sharp and friendly and they have never messed up my large orders. The owner or manager is always there and is friendly and willing to do anything it takes to make his patrons happy. They now have superb cakes too and some delicious fruity water. They have a huge playground for kids and an outside smoking section so they cater for everyone. I think Im going to go there now ... :)

The wisky pedros were nice. The place has got all the stuff that a life style centre should have but is still lacking some special attention. I hate the thick plates and cups. The chairs and tables are dirty and falling apart. Ans so is the menu and kids play area. Every time I go there and hope there would be an improvement...but not yet.
