Amazing chocolate cake. Maybe the best I’ve ever had somehow. Service is unreal too. Very helpful and attentive. Cappuccino wasn’t amazing and isn’t something I’d go there for to be honest but the cake got me good and the service is commendable.

Absolutely stunning, went there after a cycle session and DAMN! The offering was first class. Breakfast menu was stunning and for the first time in a while the portion sizes were good enough to satiate a hungry tummy. Chips were out of this world, for now its no.1 in my books. Service was stunning and Leo the manager humble to fault. Also another perk was the little biscuits that accompany the coffees are available for sale to take home, enjoying it day by day. All in all, best place for brekfast/brunch/lunch feast in the east :)

A well oiled machine. Went for breakfast after our parkrun. Very welcoming and has attractive modern decor. It wasn’t long before patrons poured in. Locals clearly know this is the spot. Management are hands on, and keep the show on the road. Our food was well presented, and tasty, also good value for money. Wife simply loved her Low Carb (under Gourmet Breakfast) with an extra egg. I had the Mega. It was slightly cold, having stood in the kitchen. I guessed, as our waitress was absorbed in meeting the demands of other tables, so much so that management delivered our meal. Other than that, this place rocks, and is clearly the place to go in the ‘East’. I wouldn’t hesitate to give them another visit.

We always enjoy a Dagwood burger, or chicken schnitzel with cheese sauce here - great food and friendly environment.

My first visit to this establishment was made so much more than I expected by the friendly waitron whom did everything she could to make me comfortable with prompt service excellent coffee and great food. Excellent value for money with great decor and perfect for a lunch time rendezvous, business meeting or just a casual solo lunch. Like a Wimpy but with panache.

Back at the Bistro today, just some dessert, amazing cheese cake and pancakes(21-04-18).......Great place to grab a bite, one of my favorite stops... I recommend the new Bistro open omelette, it has mushrooms , spinach, cocktail sausages, hash browns, avocado and pumpkin seeds. The owner(or manager) is also a very friendly person and makes one feel welcome.

This is one of those places that always has good food and good service. Even the cakes are pretty good. I frequent the boksburg branch more often, and happened to come past here this time round. My mom ordered the fillet steak and veg. I had the Beef Trinchado and Riblets, and my sis took the meatballs and blue cheese. To round it off we shared a slice of German recipe style carrot cake. The cake was nice but i am never fond of cakes with all the dried fruit on top. I asked about the Vanilla sponge and Amarula cake - that was gooood

Wow!! what a place!! The food is amazing especially if you want something different for a change. The service is top class I will highly recommend them to anyone. Every cent well spent to them!! Cant want to go there again! All the way from Springs!! Well done guys

Lunchtime visit by my son and his English girlfriend. They normally love the Bistro. Not today. Average food, and churlish service, to the point where the waitress made an error in processing an English Visa debit card, which has been used there several times.... And stated catagorically that we dont accept this card. After it was reprocessed by my sons girlfriend, the card worked with no problems.You see, an English person would complain..... But a South African just wont go back.Pull your socks up Bistro...... After a year of lockdowns, people have become more discriminating, and slack service is going to be your downfall .

Great deco, very trendy and a popular hideout. Lattes were lovely but a bit cold when we received them. However, the red velvet muffins were delicious. Good service and comfy seats.
