Wonderful attention to detail! Great thought put into making your stay as comfortable as possible. We were kindly taken to the three other locations as we are up quite often and wanted to see what else was available. We were very impressed with what was offered. I loved the decor. Only one complaint....it was freezing and we were at the Palms. The rooms are lovely and warm with wall heaters and air-conditioning but while they are being cleaned there was nowhere warm to sit. No fireplace unfortunately but I did have use of a blanket. My linen was changed after 3 days and we had clean,dry towels every day. Staff are well supervised and very pleasant.

Summer Garden is in a very serene area of Johannesburg. It is a beautiful place to stay. Im here the second time and I love. It is a bed and breakfast, however, a few minutes walk one can get nice eating places.

Rooms and service excellent. Ive stayed there a few times. But last night were terrible. Guests were noisy untill after 12. No one couls sleep.Will sleep there again.

Used them on several occasions and was happy with the service until the last time we used them. There was a mess up with one of our bookings, staff could not deal with the problem, and then after my stay, when I addressed the matter to the owner, he was rude and seemed not to care. Such a shame.Response to your reply : I really hope people read this and see your passive aggressive response. Blaming me for the booking, really telling me I am incompetent. Wow that is really good customer feedback. I am glad you have done this publicly so that everyone can see your true colours ! Your staff even admitted that other customers have had the same issues with that particular bookings portal, yet you tell me I am incompetent ! Advertising a room as Luxury when you dont supply air conditioning surely is a contradiction in terms ? Why even bother to apologies if all you are going to do is be aggressive and defensive. Your customer skills need a lot of work ! Surely offering vegetarian meals is a standard, so why use that as an example of your apparent good service. Last but certainly not least, what on earth has the time frame that I have complained about got anything to do with it ? I told your staff I was unhappy and asked them to let management know. I waited 2 months for a response and got nothing. Hence why I sent you the mail hoping to rectify the situation and instead you attack me and tell me I am incompetent !!!! You really do need a lesson in customer service. But thank you once again for doing it publicly so that everyone can see your professionalism.

Stayed a night. Fantastic African themed hotel. The hotel is in an affluent residential area. There is a small shopping area few minutes from the hotel. The manager was very helpful and knowledgeable. Great basic breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

We had a birthday celebration and booked an overnight stay in Summer Garden.We were not disappointed.The staff were all friendly and helpful , the room very clean and comfortable with everything we could have wanted in it, with one exception. Please Summer Garden, as a woman, I found it difficult to put make-up on as there is no appropriate light/mirror combination.The breakfast the next morning was amazing, and wr ate far too much!Would I recommend the guest house, without hesitation.

Not a bad BnB, bedroom is a little cramped but the bathroom is lovely and big, with an awesome shower. (Could do with a soap dish tho) Reception staff and kitchen staff are all very friendly and helpful. Parking is sufficient. Nice swimming pool and lapa areas to relax in.

Superb accomodation, with everything a guest need. Safe, beautiful, clean, friendly staff, top class breakfast and in a friendly atmosphere. Closer to shopping malls. Colour balanced and cozy rooms.

Less than 1 star!!! We indicated that we would be arriving between 19:00 - 20:00 on our booking. Our flight arrived later than anticipated and while enroute to the accommodation they called and said they were leaving and we can to find somewhere else to stay! We were almost there and we were told that they would not stay any longer past 8 pm!. Currently driving around looking for somewhere to sleep! Worst mentality for a guest house business!

Staff go out of their way to help and they are very friendly. Must add that they were very confused and mixed up basically everything around my booking. Rooms / bathrooms are small and wouldnt recommend the wooden bungalow. Lots of facilities though, pool table, swimming pool and braai area are all awesome.

We really enjoyed our stay at Summer Garden. Drieka and her staff were very friendly and the lady who welcomed us even spoke Afrikaans. Something we never expected will hapen. Thank you Summer Garden ... you will definately see us again.

Stayed at Stanton Creek for the Self Catering Townhouses. There were rubbish (beer cans etc) from the previous occupants in the back yard. Wifi was promised in the add - but nothing provided. ...rustige omgewing waar tarentale saans roep... - not quite, but there were a bunch of people partying above and across from us. The area is so dodgy, I couldnt even go for a morning run. Swimming pool - but no key for access. Complained to management - not even answered their phone or responded to the message!! My family even got a rash from the bedding. Dont go there!!

We were there for the second time. The hotel is great, the garden cottage very nice. Donald & his wife are very attentive and kind. Unfortunately, the organization team in the background is not recommended. The booking itself, including the cheeky mail traffic, was very exhausting. But then everything was finally booked: both rooms in the garden cottage for 4 people (2 couples). In the morning after the post-flight it was awesome: The driver simply took us to another guesthouse in the middle of nowhere without any consultation, as there were supposedly geyser problems in the garden cottage. We didnt like that at all and we were also going to meet the 2 friends at The Palms! After a lot of discussion it suddenly went and we were brought to The Palms - no geyser problems to notice! They had just booked twice! There was no excuse either. Therefore only 1 star for the service!

Nice guesthouse with very nice family service, delicious breakfast with fresh fruit! The bed was super comfortable with a huge bathroom with an even bigger bathtub. Practically, the access was directly to the garden / parking. All in all, perfect for a stopover!

Secured guesthouse with emergency bell, great rooms with fridge, microwave dishes, parking lot, etc. 6 minutes walk to the shopping center and restaurant / steak and seafood for 7-10 euros, greatIn the accommodation cozy and familiar, very friendly, great breakfast and everything super clean. FREE WiFi! POOL and large park-like garden with lots of peace and quiet. 5 stars from us.
