The atmosphere in the restaurant is lovely. Its wonderfully situated on the lake with a beautiful view. The service we received was fine but we were disappointed with the food. The menu is quite pricey so you expect the best. However the steak we received was mostly fat and poor quality meat. The restaurant has so much potential which could be achieved with a view adjustments. For now, I would reccomend going somewhere else

Hostess was rude, waiter had to get her to come seat us. Food and drinks were well served though. The restaurant was well beautifully decorated and the view of the water is awesome.

The restaurant itself is beautiful,however during weekends there is a dj who plays from midday. Might be off putting for those who enjoy a nice quite meal and good conversation.

Beautiful place with nice vibe, great music and delicious food. Just was not impressed with the service 🤦🏽‍♀️ took long for us to get our food and we had to wait for an hour for our drinks and another 40 minutes for the 2nd round🙆🏽‍♀️. Then the waiter gave us the bill and disappeared for 20 minutes, we even had to ask another waiter to take our payment

Food was served in litres of oil and our steak was basically just fat🤮 everything also seemed very dirty.. chairs.. cutlery.. if thats your vibe then you should totally come and eat here.. never seeing me again! Eeeeeeeeeeek.. one positive.. service was great and overall beautiful restaurant.

Situated besides a bed of water, the restaurant is very fancy and clean. I love the general look of the place. The food was also really good we had a meat platter. It was a bit busy though so it was hard to judge the friendliness of the staff as everyone was fully occupied but overall it was a chilled vibe

We went on a sunday morning. Was just after opening. The service was great, but when people starting showing up. The service left. We waited so long for drink orders. The food was very fancy and delicious. The view was beautiful. We had to eat on our laps on the deck chars

The place was exquisite, the view was amazing. Situated close to a lake and lot of greenery. The restaurant was clean and the vibe was more then what we could ask for. Just one complain i have. The food was horrifying, the meat had no taste, literally no salt and very hard. Enjoyed the chips and chicken wings and thats all.

Great atmosphere, beautiful views, lovely set up both inside and outside. And the food is nice. Its a must visit! Very relaxing. They need to update their info on Google Maps because there isnt a contact number and it still says no dining in. Just took a risk and drove there to find it in full operation luckily.

Cielo it has always been my favorite. But today I was so disappointed. The place was disorganized, its was untidy. The food took too long. The waiter couldnt even thank the tips he was given. I dont think of going back at anytime soon.

My steak was very tough and the service took long yet it wasnt even busy. I hope things will get better as covid restrictions get lifted

The service was terrible, waiters just passed us at the door, we had to seat ourselves down.. The waiter that served us wasnt friendly, he just came, didnt introduce himself, he just dropped menus on the table and left... Honestly dont deserve even 1 star from me, Im disappointed.

The view is amazing, I can only compare it to a few places that I have ever been to. The customer service is friendly and welcoming they literally cant do anything to better to improve it. Thanks for the experience.On the flipside though.......The food took almost an hour to prepare, the food was a bit on the cold side and I didnt enjoy the food at all. The presentation of the food is marvelous but the taste of the actual food especially the meat was anticlimactic. The meat was salt less or sauce less. The steak, the lamb and the chicken where not succulent at all. I am disappointed.If however you looking for a place to grab a few drinks with your friends and absorb stunning views that is most definately the place to visit.

We decided to go on a double date. And wow, i must say, i was disappointed. The music was too loud, we had to scream at the top of our voices to get the message through to the other side of the table and there was only 4 of us. Dont even mention the food, dry like the Kalahari desert. What a disappointment for a highly rated place. If i could give it one star less than what i did, I would.

The service is so slow here. You have to find a waiter to seat you, then look for a waiter to serve you. The food and drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive. 😫 Once it arrived it was cold. Imagine cold food! 😭

The place itself was nice and had beautiful places where we could take our pictures but there’s just a few things which made our overall experience horrible :1.) We had reserved a specific place to sit at but when we got there other people were sitting where we specifically reserved.2.) When my other guests asked to be shown where I was seated the lady at reception was rude and told them that she doesn’t remember where that person was and I totally understand that they are busy but if me asking a waiter to come show a guest of mine where I am seated and his response is go fetch them yourself doesn’t reflect good on the restaurant’s ethics and overall good service .3.)The waiters took forever to get our drinks order as well as our food order.4.) We wanted to order burgers but were told that they had no buns and we would have to wait over an hour for them to get more buns which forced us to order something different.5.) Our food also took forever to come and when it came, it was cold we were all disappointed. The food was horrible and we couldn’t even finish it . I order a lamb shank which was not seasoned, it looked like it was just boiled with water and nothing else was done to it . It also tasted a bit sour and for the amount of money you pay for it you expect the best which was not the case here. My friend ordered a rare steak and she got well done steak .Overall the experience was horrible and I wouldn’t recommend people here. The only thing that was nice was our cocktails but if you order food here , you are just wasting your money.

The worst service ever.seems as though the waitron had preference who to give good service to. I will never advice anyone to visit that place.the food was cold after waiting 1 hour ,waitron didnt care when i complained.

Extremely poor service we got from Nozipho who was standing at the door on the 25th of Dec. Very rude told us we cant sit outside Table are reserved when we also made a reservation, we sat inside for 5 hrs, still no one came to occupy the tables outside. The food was tasteless, not nice at all, please change your chef, its the 3rd time we come and get bad food

Mediterranean restaurant with a great beautiful view. With a beach where you can spend the day basking under the sun, on powder fine, white sand or take a dip in their inviting infinity pool. The service is exceptional and their stuff is friendly. The food is full of flavour.

We hosted a bachelorette at Cielo and the waiter was friendly and fast with service. Everybody loved the food. The wild mushroom risotto was everyones favorite along with the salad and fried fish mains. Some said the spaghetti and meatballs were the best they ever had. The scenery was beautiful and there was a great vibe. We thoroughly enjoyed the day!

Despite the beautiful scenery, service lacks. Waiters do not work in a team and not friendly. Menu is very limited but drinks are amazing. Wonderful place to go with friends for drinks and a swim too.

The veggie burger was only made of potatoes. The service of waiters definitely is very lethargic. I have had great meals here many times. Decor is amazing the venue is fantastic. The desert was killer. Still recommend for sure.
