After being trapped in the USA for 8 months, on account of the COVID-19 Pandemic, we returned to South Africa on a repatriation flight. Our arrival was horrible and we were treated like cattle at the airport, before being whisked away, under police escort to our undisclosed destination...What a wonderful anticlimax! The property is wonderful, their rooms top-notch, their staff friendly and their service right on point - under the circumstances.For how well they treated us, the least I felt we could do is give them a very well-deserved 5-star rating!

Wow. Can I give 6 stars? The staff are just awesome. Really. All of them are so friendly. Eats and drinks between sessions were of a very high quality. The lunches we enjoyed were just magnificent! The interior was impeccable. I can really recommend this venue!

Very friendly staff at reception and around the building,,the conference centres are up to standard with the latest equipment, the rooms are neat nd spacious its value for money. The kitchen can improve though on the lunch menu specifically the pap and beef its not worth writing home about. Everything else spot on

Beautiful hotel with a reputable chef.

This is the absolute perfect venue for conferences for small groups as well as large groups. They have smaller venues for breakaway groups and little nooks outside venues where you can sit and have a chat. Catering is outstanding. Really a lovely place for just a weekend getaway away from the hustle and bustle of the city but also close to Johannesburg and Pretoria. The landscaping is breathtaking and just creates that peaceful atmosphere in which you can relax and just enjoy a drink from the bar.

My husband had an annual conference here for his work. I would not recommend staying here if you have a baby. No baby chair makes feeding times very challenging. We recommended to them to have a high chair. The food was delicious, the rooms were nice but again not really baby friendly. Some staff members were super friendly and nice while others just did their jobs. Quite a distance from everything e.g shopping malls etc There is a nice duck pond which my daughter loved. The scenery is beautiful. I would say good for qork trips ~ conferences only. Oh!There is a also a swimming pool which I didnt see anyone swimming in it for the week we stayed but beautiful for pictures and just sitting to relax by the pool area.

The hotel is amazing, Ive given it 5 star. The rooms are lovely, always clean, spacious, suitable for a family as well. The rooms are just gorgeous.The only thing thats a negative about the place is the room service food.Ive tried three different menus and I wasnt satisfied with all of them and my colleagues feel the same about food ordered here.Maybe the hotel can work on improving that area.Otherwise, everything else is lovely

We sent an evening at Kopanong. Its location is great. The property is lovely. Our suite was comfortable, bedroom with on suite bathroom was lovely. Air conditioners really work well. Tv in the bedroom is a great touch. We had dinner and breakfast, menu is slightly limited but had good options. Staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way for you. Conferencing facilities are amazing. Bathrooms are really nice too.

Friendly service, great food and wheelchair accessible. I love the fact that they will come fetch you with a golf cart for meetings or lunch. Everything is hastle free and there is always someone ready to help.

The staff was welcoming and gave us information. Theres a swimming pool and a gym. I was happy with the rooms and the beds. They had wild animals at the time but no need to fear, theyre caged. If you cant wake up to the sight of a caged cheetah, just ask for a different room.The food was superb and in variety. Definitely recommend the place.No halal food.

It is not five stars hotel, but it was clean and quiet. It is kind of villa. The buffet breakfasts were wonderful

Kopanong was fantastic. Staff very friendly. They try to please by all means.. One day I ordered a fruit salad, but some of the fruit were a little bit hard. I asked Brilliant if I can have it in a smoothy. He did it for me. How cool is that.

Tranquil. The conference rooms a very professional you can hold international standard meetings here. The catering is also very versatile and the food is good. I was here on a work event but would really plan on spending some family time here... aha!😀

Location is not ideal but it makes it average. The veg food wasnt good for the conference. The accommodation was good though. Parking is uncovered but is secure. Buffet breakfast is great. Apparently they dont pay the tips to the waiters.

This was the happiest I have seen my delegates in many a meeting. The hospitality extended to our large group of predominantly guests with a range of disabilities was simply amazing. #ProudlySouthAfrican

What an Amazing Venue for our Transformation Day as a Company. Service was impeccable, The Food and Dessert spread had such variety and was absolutely delicious. The Restaurant layout is Fantastic!!! Catering for everyones needs. They have a lovely naturally shady boma area at the entrance for smokers. Would definitely recommend this Venue!!! There is so much more I could say, but go and experience this Phenomenal Venue for yourselves 😉

Beautiful serene getaway with neat clean comfy rooms set in perfectly landscaped gardens and tranquil pool area. Info sheets in rooms should be updated since it stated that room service was only available from 10am only to find out that it changed and is indeed available from early in the mornings. A stay to remember.

I have not been to Kopanong in many years but it remains a conference venue of note and value for money indeed. The staff were very professional and pleasant. The distance from city disturbances makes it an ideal venue for learning.

The place is different from my traditional hotel experience. It has chalets that are beautiful and house approximately 3 guests. Its a serene place.

Nice atmosfere but tv is not good,only 3 radio stations which is not popular and you cant watch ur own dvds or play games,cant chance source on tv,not enough tv channels.

The courtesy i recieved was amazing. I got carried on a small mobile carraige to my room with my luggage. The door at reception was opened for me through out my stay for the two days. The buffet was to die for. The breakfast was also good. The rooms were very accomodating. Their boardroom is also spacious. Their bathroom facilities during the consultation.

The service was good. The accommodation rooms are specious enough. Just ok!

Decent hotel. Mostly setup for conferences and training. Although for long stays avoid the buffet for dinner as it get repetitive. Also don’t order meals from bar as you will wait a long time.
