I had a problem with my E200 CGI auto 2010MB in SA really battles to find the noise from my engine ,a chain like noise when coming to a stop or driving in traffic at about 1250 rev, from April 2017 My car spent many days /months in the MB workshop.MB got specialists in from Germany, they did pressure monitoring ,changed the sprockets and chain twice .Very sad to say MB issued a letter to me accepting this noise and familiar with this noise and must drive the car without any damage expected and repairs guaranteed for 2 years which expires in April .Pritesh Nana suggested checking the gearbox oil and found the oil not checked /changed , it was almost black .We changed the oil , the noise disappeared completely, the power is fantastic, the idling at stop streets is constant.I!have 3 Merc’s and wanted to go back to my Toyota, now I believe and will keep Merc’s due to my liking of a Merc.What is disappointing is I asked merc to check the gearbox oil some time last year , I have email proof and they said it has been and is ok, HOW RELIABLE ID INFORMATION GIVEN BY MB WHEN YOU TAKE YOUR CAR FOR SERVICE.After taking my car to Nana , I am so so Happy.I will never take my car anywhere else because they are out of motor planThanks Nana
