Excellent visit to Bermanzi, we enjoy our stay and the hiking trails.The trail was challenging and enjoyed every moment of it, a lot of surprises on the trails. The trail on Bermanzi form part of the Num-Num trail.Thank you to the owner, for let us feeling welcome on the farm and then tell us the history of the farm. The history is amazing, It is wonderful to go back in history and see it during the hike as well.Thank you for keeping the trails safe, open and clean.The accomodation is good, fully equipped and sleeping 10 people with 3 bathrooms and a wonderful view.Will definitely go back.

Nice hike, took us a little under 5 hours to do it. Beautiful scenery. The waterfall was a little disappointing as there was much not water falling. It got very steep and challenging after seeing the waterfall from the bottom and it was a very hot sunny day. Overall we enjoyed it and would totally advice others to attempt it.

Incredible experience! Great trail, challenging with breathtaking views that make the labour worth it.Facilities are great and the staff are also extraordinarily friendly and helpful.

Amazing hiking a mere 3 hours drive from Johannesburg. Accommodations are very good as well as the slack packing service provided by Percy. Perfect for families and groups up. If you are 20 people you will have the place to yourself. Did I mention the amazing hiking??

Brilliant place for a hike magnificent waterfalls

It is beautiful trail, nice views, beautiful waterfall....trail is well maintained. Moderate and very interesting.

Awesome hike! We did the 12km day hike, gorgeous on the way down, technical but well set up and at the end we had the surprise of a lifetime with the bottom half of the falls being frozen!

Make sure you use a proper raised vehicle to get here, it is remote and the roads are bad, but the trail is worth it. Beautiful and challenging.

We did the hiking trail starting from Aloe Kaya to Bermanzi on day one and from Bermanzi to Aloe Kaya. It is a moderately difficult very scenic route. The camps are well equipped with kitchen appliances including cups, plates and cutlery. Sleeping areas are clean and maintained. Take cash with as they have an honestly shop with cold drinks at Aloe Kaya and candle wood huts.

Beautiful hike, moderate to slightly difficult trail. The aloe kaya trail is rather dry this time of the year, it does not seem like it has yet received rainfall. The aloe kaya to oom paul trail is very interesting with many bridges, this trail was rather challenging but exciting... quite scenic.

Trails are not clearly marked, please improve the marking on the maps, the alphabets on the map should also be reflected on the signage that we follow

Probably one of my favourite places on earth. You feel transported to another world. Beautiful hiking trails perfect for a trail run, if you want a challenge. I definitely recommend that you visit this wonderful place.

Amazing venue with some really beautiful hiking trails and vegetation. The owner is hands on and extremely helpful and friendly. The property is peaceful and tranquil. The surrounding land well kept with trails well maintained. Perfect spot for a weekend getaway.

Great backpacking accomodation for a big group of people, well equipped kitchen with power and warm showers, You do need your own bedding. Absolutely beautiful hike and scenery. Well worth it.

Well marked trails and stunning views. Serene forest experience along with high up mountain paths. All and all a nature experience not to be missed.

A pleasant hike. One does need a little experience. Facilities are comfortable and sufficient, accommodation is clean and showers are really lovely with great pressure.

Beautiful waterfalls, interesting trail

The host was very friendly and helpful.It is totally isolated and feels as though you are truly miles away from civilisation. The air is crisp and clean, and the views are breathtaking.I would highly recommend this hiking trail. Though I would advise starting with one of the shorter trails if you are a beginner.It was truly an amazing experience hiking through the kloof.
