Reviews of poor service are correct.The owner has seen many reviews of guests getting lost to the venue and made no attempt to change this. So, of course, we got lost despite using a GPS.We paid extra for 2 guests and there was nothing done for us. Guests had to sleep on the couches and use own linen. Im sure we will not get refunded for our R1000 extra paid for the guests. No extra towels. Although owner promised to send over linen and beds, it was empty promises. Extra guests are obviously not welcome. No guest toilet so people have to enter other peoples rooms to use a toilet.Pool is not heated. Freezing at this time of the year. Pool is not covered.I dont recommend this lodge. Maybe others in the area are better. I wont be back

Amazing views with beautiful sunsets. Hearing the lions roar in the evenings contribute to this adventure. Lodge is well equipped with the pool on the edge of the deck. I will definitely recommend Sunset Lodge for the perfect weekend breakaway.

Awesome view, the beds and pillows is comfortable. The house is ok. Only thing is the safari bakkie is not in good shape at all!!!
