My wife Chris and I have been going to the Shack for 14 years as we live nearby. We have had great experiences there - family and friends, New years Eves, casual meals. Nico and Sonya are wonderful hosts and are loved by us regulars. Their fish and chips and fillet steaks are outstanding and excellent value for money. Great pub atmosphere too. Thoroughly recommended!

Had one amazing time here! People are kind and welcoming. Jumped into the swimming pool after a while! Really a fun place.

Awesome place, clean and always have good cold beer.The food is simple dishes but its amazing definitely worth having a beer or two and something to eat here.

This is a great pub & grill situated in the Waterberg. It is essential to book if you plan on having something bigger that a burger. Sonjas Fillet steak is something you will not easily forget. The people are friendly and it is very easy to get stuck here. I had some awesome time here with friends and can recommend a stop if you pass it by. The access road is a bit rough and I will not recommend it without at least a good suburban 4x4.

Drove all the way there. About 10km gravel road to found they close there kitchen at 18h00 although at the gate and on google they said kitchen close 20h00. Also very limited menu..infact close to no excisting.wont ever wast my time like that again

Wow. If it was not on Google maps i would have never stumbled across this place.What a great atmosphere, run by the owners. Food is freshly prepared until 8pm at night.A typical locals pub that you need to experience.

Just 15kms from town, well looked after place. Friendly owners Nico & Sonja. So quiet you can easily forget to leave.

Arrived alloan and dusty on my Mountain Bike. Welcomed by the owners Nico and Sonja to true South African platelandse hospitality, fine food and made some good friends. Remember to ask for the yard-of-ale.
