We stopped for something light to eat and to get more information about over night places (the local upgraded hotel was a bit too expensive for us) . We got both and more. Pies were jummy. We got a lovely B&B contact from the owner and a tour to their homeshed and recycle garden. Also an invitation to the local get together at the club that evening. What beautiful people.!

Amazing hidden gem in the heart of the Karoo

Service was poorest I have had in a long time! The waitress did not even know what Craft Beer was!! Despite the fact that it is advertised outside on a large board.Limited menu items available, and generally very expensive.Not a good value stop in my opinion.

What a tranquil setting and resting experience in this beautiful small Eastern Cape town.

There is so much to see there, the variety of woodcraft is of absolute quality, the old school craft. The tapestries are beautiful. No booking is necessary and the place is ideal for children to run around and chase chickens or play on the large tyre as a swing. Perfect for large groups, ample seating is available whether undercover or in the pretty garden. The food is for all ages, freshly prepared so while one waits, there is a nursery to meander through, enjoy the scenary inside and out. They have an incredible up-cycled garden a must for all to see. One gets very inspired when visiting Eagle Hout. We enjoy visiting from Cape Town to take our grandchildren to enjoy a meal. When we visit when SA is playing rugby, all the adults meet there for some gees.

Stoped by chance while traveling from Old Thomas River towards PE. What a pleasureable experience. Friendly staff, excelent service, value for money and the food was delicious. Ladies and Gents in tip-top condition and kept clean.
