Im not a avid camper, the staff and owners are super friendly and lots of activities for all.

Clean and very beautiful well maintained sites. So close to the beach and the lagoon and plenty to do.

Many happy memories made here over the years. A lovely place to chill with family and friends. Clean, well organised. The heated pool is a great place for the kids to spend time. Amazing view of the ocean from the log cabins. A special treat was watching the whales from the deck.

Best family campsite in KZN. Owners make you feel like you are part of the Family and staff are friendly and helpful. If you looking at spending time down the coast, look no further.

Arrived on 28 October at around 13:00 and was greeted by security with a big smile and assistance. When setting up our caravan and tent, we received immediate assistance by the personell. While still busy, we were welcomed with a welcome cup of tee. I call this awesome. Seems like we are going to have a good week or 2 here.

First time there and will be back for sure.! Clean ablutions. Well run facility.

It is a great place to visit and stay in, not far from the beach. Theres a caravan park for those who like to camp, playing parks for the little ones as well as safe parking.

Loved this place. Staff and other campers are so friendly. They are all together. Loved the scones and tea every morning. Nice big camp sites, clean amenities, they have braai fries so that campers can get to know each other. Many other activities for children and adults. Best camp place I been too. Immaculate ablutions and really nice sites, I was just a bit surprised that there were no built-in braais. Portable ones are available from the office though. Great that there is a shop there too.

Free, people available to take washing and dishes of your 👐, pool and beach within walking distance, hall with activities. Great family holiday location

Great great GREAT holiday destination for anyone wanting a holiday that is filled with relaxing, sun soaked memories! We love to camp and the facilities are amazing along with the friendliest staff made up of the Mac Nicole family. We have gone there every December for the past 4 years and will probably make this our own family tradition for years to come.

We stayed in the log cabins and had a wonderful long weekend with everything we needed around us. The cabins were spotlessly clean and well maintained. Braai fires were lit at the swimming pool entertainment area in the evenings for everyone to use and guests are treated to tea & scones in the morning. What a well run park!

One of the best caravan parks in the country and weve camped in about 140 all over! Clean, very well maintained in all areas, ablutions cleaned about 3x daily . Tea & scones served daily at the pool-free. Children love this place as there are games organised for them nearly every day.

Awesome campsite for a beach holiday. Especially good if you have kids. Dogs are also welcome on the lead.

One of our favourite caravan parks! On arrival a lady brings a tray with tea and the men arrive to put up your tent! Every morning at 10.30, they serve tea and scones free. People often sit and chat around the pool until 12! Ablutions are beautiful and clean as is the whole park. Situated on the Ifafa river and about 200m from the beach. Children and grandchildren are kept entertained with games every afternoon & sometimes in the evening. Weve just arrived for our 3 month winter stay. Pensioner long stay rates are R2900pm. Stands are big and level,,mostly grassed.

Thanks so much for the understanding when we had to leave early and after arriving late due to our motor home troubles.... Will definitely be back!

Stunning views

Great place for kids, young adults and even older folk. Atmosphere is always positive and friendly! Safe and incredible beaches! Whats not to love about this Place!!

This is truly a place to go to for a fun filled holiday with never a dull moment. During the school holidays the management of the resort never fail to entertain both young and old with interactive activities. A lot of effort is put into every aspect of the resort from scones and tea in the morning to crab hunting at night and much more in between. The bonfire on the beach is a true highlight. For the bird lovers the Egyptian Goose and Spur Winged Goose never fail to entertain and with some luck the Fish Eagles will surprise you with a call true to Africa.

This for us is the best run Caravan Camping/Chalet accommodation venue we have frequented. This is an owner family establishment where they and their staff really make you feel at home. First Class

We just love Bazley. We have a park home here and just love spending time here to relax and enjoy meeting with old and new friends at tea and evening braais. The parking beautifully kept and the atmosphere is just so friendly.

One of the best family resorts in the country and one of my favourite places.

Not a place for budget conscious ppl, unless you are looking at camping on the off season... Great location. Wonderful amenities. 4 sleeper cabins can actually sleep 6 (2 bunk beds on a room off the veranda). Try to bring what you need with you, as the little store closes early. Expect to see some cats, monkeys and meerkat roaming around...

This was our 1st caravan camping trip. A 9 year old. A 5 year old and a 16 month old. Mac Nicols is absolutely amazing. On arrival the parked our caravan, erected the tents and served us tea. We hardly see the boys. They are gone early and back late. So much for them to do and super safe. A stunning Holliday and an incredible resort.

Damaged my caravan on the high bush alongside the roads after pruning had taken place but the thick branch stubs were hidden hence gouging the whole side of my caravan. No sympathy from the youngsters at reception damage to my van R17000.00 to replace the side panel. Will never see me again neither my Friends so scons just dont make up for poor maintenance in the park.

Best caravan park on the south coast of KZN. A little pricey in season but so worth the cost with all the entertainment they offer.

Hosts are excellent. Clean facilities. Activities programme allows you to keep busy and meet new friends. Tea and scones provided daily. Access to private beach. Monkeys and ferrul cats can be a problem.

Surely one of the best of its kind in South Africa, but beware older folks: avoid the Froggy Pond area during school holidays unless you are completely immune to screaming and wailing babies and small children. This was a bloody nightmare!

Such a beautiful place, beautiful clean pools, a lagoon to swim in, friendly staff, Play area for the kids, beautiful ablutions....and entertainment, there is always something on the go at Mac Nicols and it is so well organised....you are bound to have the best time there....

One of the best parks we have been too. The park and amenities are top rate. The family are very involved with the happiness of guests. Water aerobics in the morning. Tea and scrumptuous scone get together in mornings. Tea in afternoon. Communal braai s are organized with family proudly providing pancakes for desert. Otherwise they offer a great meal and dessert for minimal amount. Boat sightseeing trips(booze cruise) organised down river. Soo much to do with wonderful hosts providing a wonderful glamping experience. In quiet season the beach is a little remote and towns Scottburugh or Pennington are the closest. However camp shop provides everything one needs. Hats off to a wonderfully run park. We will definitely make a point of going back.

I have been camping around South Africa for over 3 years. Mac Nicols is by far the best caravan park in S.A. and is value for money. They offer so many extras and as 3 generations of the Macnicols live at the resort ...they are totally hands on in all aspects. There is nothing to beat it!!
