Boutique wine farm with aged red wines. The Syrah 2016 was my favourite. Although busy at the time the owner/ wine maker still had time for every customer.

Wine tasting, sales, deli and restaurant set in a picturesque setting on Route 62 near Barrydale. Small range of excellent wines, exceptional barrel-fermented Chardonnay and R62 red blends. Enjoyed beef burgers and a cheese and meat platter on the veranda. Excellent and friendly service, tasty, generous portions. Recommended.

Oh love this place and will visit again. The food is wonderful, the settling is delightful, the garden in colorful bloom. The owner although busy had time for a quick chat and wine tasting.

Found this lovely little gem on the R62 just before Barrydale (traveling from Cape Town). Roadside advertising tempted us to try their delectable treats and we were duly rewarded with some of the most delicious and freshest tasting delicacies that Ive had in years. The little eatery can accommodate about 20 guests and the menu contains enough to tame the lunch time hunger pangs. No McDonalds or KFC mass production junkies here - freshness is guaranteed! The whole family (including pre-teens) were 100% satisfied. Loved it!

A delightful farm, with beautiful wines. We did the wine tasting paired with home made bread and the farm olive tapenade. Oh my I still dream of that tapenade! The wines were delicious too! All this led by our very knowledgeable hostess. The shared seasonal tapenade platter was excellent and a treat for the senses.Well worth a visit.

Meyer Joubert produces excellent wines and is passionate about his craft. The deli serves fresh delicious home made meals and a stop at Joubert Tradauw is highly recommended.A very pleasant surpriseWe live in the area and have driven past Joubert-Tradauw many times but decided to book lunch here during a weekend stay over in Barrydale. We were met by the owner / winemaker Meyer Joubert and as we were a bit early for lunch he suggested a wine tasting in the meantime. Meyer is obviously very passionate about the area and his wines and shared a lot of information about each vinyard block and its specific soil and temperature zones. We do a lot of wine tastings and have a fair idea of what is on offer in the area. The Joubert-Tradauw range of wines is excellent and intense due to the colder mountain temperatures. The R62 blend is highly recommended. Meyer also took us into his maturation cellar and we did a few barrel tastings of works in progress. If you read this Meyer, I still think you should botttle the Cabernet Sauvignon as a single cultivar wine. Lunch was just as interesting and tasty as the wines. The food is bistro style dishes and is professionaly prepared and plated. I had the ostrich burger and my wife the pasta dish which I got stuck into after I cleared my plate. We had a great time on the farm and Joubert-Tradauw is highly recommended

Most disappointing visit - wines very average, food mediocre at best - disappointment compounded by unjustifiably high prices. After reading all the 5 star reviews, wonder whether we went to the same place as they did.
