Great Accommodation. Value for money. Well decorated and clean rooms and amenities

I chanced upon Over Karoo Inn quite fortuitously, noticing a new facade along the road as I drove into town at the end of a long days riding. Turns out it was the owner himself, Schalk, working outside when I stopped to enquire after a bed for the night. A short and friendly chat later I had parked up my bike and was shown my accommodation for the evening.To say I was blown away would be mild. A great deal of attention had been paid to details, and although there were obvious signs of ongoing renovations, my room was immaculate, fully serviced, and very comfortable! I loved the shower floor (even want something similar for my home showers now!); the firm bed gave me an excellent nights rest; the complementary spring water in the fridge was exquisite; the little beaded sheep grazing on its knees outside my room was adorable, the beaded rooster thankfully quiet!Although not (yet) set up for breakfast catering, Schalk pointed me to their comprehensive and informative booklet for various options.Id definitely recommend staying over here if you get the chance, and look forward to my own next visit.

Great accommodation with attention to detail. Safe off -street parking. On main street with all the restaurants and bars.

Amazing to be able to sleep on a warm blanket on a cold wet night.I came in after dark and got delicious pasta and coffee.Secure a place I would.recommend..clean and nice quiet room.Everything you need.
