Worth a visit if in Barberton. Henry, our guide, was excellent... very knowledgable

Very nice place in the miners town. Not expensive just 30 rand per person. With this ticket you can visit the other museum house and local museum aswell. Great guide who told us everything about the house, the family and the history around it. She also gave some tips to get around the area and some fun hints for the other museum house (bellhaven museum). Place is getting old but that shows how it really was. They might be able to conserve some of the objects on a better way. Your not allowed to touch anything but nothing is protected. So I guess some guests cant resist it... anyway nice place worth a visit.

A little surprise! Everything is still at its place like it was 1900! The guide was fantastic - very knowledgeable and friendly! Recommended if you stop in this small town!
