The Victorian Tea garden serves light meals at very reasonable prices. Their Coffee milkshake is beautifully creamy!The Jock of the Bushveld burger is the biggest burger I have ever seen! Tomato, onion, beef patty, bacon, fried egg and cheese layered on a large hamburger roll was a sight to behold! Fish and chips with salad was freshly prepared and filling. The only downside was extremely slow service. So dont go there if you are in a hurry. It took 40 min to serve 2 of us. They have daily specials which are prepared in advance so ask about those for better service.

We stopped here for a quick breakfast on our way to Hazyview. We were the only clients but they somehow managed to take 50 minutes to prepare breakfast for the five of us.This was barely acknowledged by the staff. Of course, when we got our breakfast it was cold and the toast tasted like cardboard.Only upside was the price.I would give 0 stars if possible and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone, ever.

Magda and her team at Victorian Tea Garden are the friendliest and nicest people around. We get supper there on a daily basis and we always have the best food, even for the picky eaters in my family.
