What an amazing 3days! James was a real gem making sure we were happy at all times. The food was also delicious and beautifully presented. Rooms were comfortable.

Family lunch with travelling family membersSuch a fantastic lunch in a very special setting. Sat out side under a beautiful tree and were served with magnificent platters. Thanks to James for his attentive and well directed service and to Kristen for her excellent cooking and very welcoming aporoach. Even the wine was very drinkable. Rounded off with a self drive around the estate in the available golf car. fully recommended. The visit inside was to call back a magnificent past with set tables, a gramophone and a wonderful pool. Would recommend any time

Long overdue review. Visited in 2014 and will return any day. Comfy, high quality stay. Food, service and hospitality are top class. Made friends with the local dog he/she joined me on the golf cart whileexploring the farm.

Exceptional guesthouse in a beautiful setting

A very lovely place for a weekend escapade.We ve been taken care of so charmingly.One can go for wine tasting even blend, bottle and label your one wine the way you like it for a very affordable price. Take a walk in the garden, enjoying the animals on the farm go for a drive with the cart..Dinner was served in a royal chamber on the long table accompanied by a wood fire and delightful background music. The host took care of everything following a 5 star skills scheme.The food is all home made and slow cooked and tastes accordingly! A big compliment to all.Thanks for the lovely stay.

Amazing location for a trip. Beautiful vineyards to walk in and lovely pool to swim in. The meals were absolutely decadent and service is friendly and attentive.

Stunningly authentic!

4 of us had a lovely stay at Excelsior Manor.Besides being on Excelsior wine estate where you can do wine tasting and even make your own blend, it is close to all the other wine farms in the Robertson Valley.Kirsten, James and Mieta made our stay even more memorable.

Kistern was just marvellous in handling everything and arranging for a proper stay. James the waiter was and still is beyond exceptional. I will definitely pay a visit with my friends

Thank you Kirsten, for making our reservation so easy & James for the warm welcome even though we arrived much later than expected. Well be back for a longer stay to enjoy all thats on offer.

A lovely place to relax and enjoy Kristens great meals.

Being at excelsior was the greatest thing ever James is outstanding he is everywhere. Doing wine tasting was great. Excelsior is the best place that i will always recommend with magnificent view. It was so upset we couldnt give our gratitude (tip) to James because he is not allowed, but he deserves to be appreciated he is the pillar of excelsior..... always on point.

Excellent 🍷 wine and cuisine.. Beautiful surrounding. Romantic and Posh . A lot to do for young and the matured... No TV,Cycling, fishing, rowing, hiking, swimming,horse riding, Wine tasting and Deli on or overlooking the water. Stunning venue for hire to have a private functions. Personal helpful and very friendly..I have been staying here for the last 3 years👍👍👍

Perfect place!Apart from their wines they indicate regardless the hospitality is pleasant and provide exactly what is needed.The staff are exceptionally helpful and helped us alot with recommendations on the environment, excellent breakfast and freshness there is a selection of cheeses, sausages, cut fruits with yogurt and granola and an invitation to send eggs also dinner was an excellent 3 course main quiche fillet of beef and sticky caramel dessert With ice cream and best unlimited wine throughout the meal and truth throughout the stay!There are stunning views from the hotel and they even provide mini golf to hang out in the vineyards.In short as I said at the beginning perfect

Highly recommended. The landlady is amazing and patient. Rooms are large. The house is decorated in an antique style. Breakfast is served. The view is different from any direction you look at. There are wine tastings, you can buy a bottle of one type or choose which combination of grapes you want.

Beautiful old winery, one is transferred to another time, for me everything is right, room, service, food 👍
