Lovely Sat or Sunday outing for us on the motorbike. Cannot fault any food or drink we have had to date and we have been a few times. Well behaved dogs are welcome which we love if we have driven by car. The whole venue inside and out is unique and has a fun, relaxing and natural feel about it. There are various stall holders with treats/gifts or fresh farm veggies and even an assortment of reading materials to choose from and purchase. 5 stars from us all around.

This is a hidden gem. Only 30 minutes drive from East London. Perfect for Saturday and Sunday morning drives on the Wild Coast. I love how the deco blends in with the theme of this establishment. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

If you like being in nature this is a nice little cafe in the Trees. The views from the deck are stunning. However the food lacked a bit of flavor. It definitely wasnt bad but it also wasnt amazing. The bathroom facilities are filled with bugs and very dark.IG:@nicolelesleyeats

Such a lovely place! We arrived a bit early, but was still graciously received. Had to wait for the coffee machine, so received complimentary filter coffee while we waited. The food was delicious and portions were generous. Staff were extremely friendly. The place is also dog-friendly which was awesome. There were quite a few sauces, jams, toys and beaded items for sale a great prices. Would definitely recommend it and will most certainly visit again.

I dont know if were just unlucky, but my family and I waited so long for someone to ask if we wanted a menu or just come to us. And that is after I greeted the girl behind the counter. We tried going there 7 years ago,but they were closed. When we saw they were open were so excited, finally we can experience their hospitality. We got up and had breakfast at the lion farm rather.Thank you for the quick response. We really do appreciate it. We shall definitely go back for a second chance and at least we know what to do when we get there. We are looking forward to it.

Tea in the Trees is exceptionally special - a beautiful setting in the forest and the restaurant serves delicious, quality food for reasonable prices. There is a hike/walk through the forest that you can do, and there is a market, I think on the last Sunday of the month. We loved Tea in the Trees so much that we got married here earlier this year, and Kate and her team were exceptional in helping us prepare for the day. The actual evening went off splendidly, Kate is cool and calm, and handled everything, including an Eskom power failure mid-wedding. We will definitely be back!

We arrived to eat there on a Sunday afternoon at 12pm during the festive season. We follow the instructions that are written on a black board, which were to take a table number, a menu, and a drinks menu. We do that and go sit down. Now between the 6 of us, we need to share one menu and one drinks menu. Passing it around, we all decide what we want and we go to the counter to go order it, as stipulated on the black board. The worker there tells us that they not serving food, only drinks and tapas because their kitchen has been working at full capacity for a while now.I found that extremely weird since it is a weekend during the festive season, and surely they should plan well enough with their staff in order to accommodate the extra traffic. They also only closed at 2pm and currently had quite a few tables open. We didnt struggle choosing one.Anyway, since we drove 30minutes there on pretty bad roads, we thought we will just order drinks and 3 tapas to share between the 6 of us because we were all very hungry.Im going to skip talking about how the actual tapas for R95 did not feel at all to me as if it were value for money, because the problem is bigger than that.We get our drinks, and while we waiting for the food, we see food coming out of the kitchen, burgers and chips and everything. We get our tapas and food is still coming out. We go ask at the counter and now another waiter there tells us that they are serving food, and they go a couple new black boards marketing new meals available.I do not understand what went through the initial workers mind. It is such a strange experience that I actually do not understand still. The worker was a thin white male with a bun hairstyle, if that will help in diagnosing the problem..

Awesum venue... Awesum atmosphere... Very chilled perfect to relax. As far as the fuel xpense for getting there :-D... It really isnt an issue. In CT or JHB you would drive 50 km or more to get to a venue this idyllic. If the R50 fuel bothers u, perhaps go to some horrible chain restaurant in a crowded noisy mall.
