We were holidaying in the area and needed to see a vet because of my boys skin allergies. Reception was very friendly! Dr. Cameron immediately saw how scared my boy was and went out of his way to try and comfort him. He is also very personable and made me feel very at ease.Thank you for the excellent service and helping us to enjoy the rest of our holiday.

Yesterday on 14.06.21I took my two little puppies for vaccin,the service I got there was quiet good,even the assistants in the yard were quiet good,what a nice place to be.Its unlike Toti spca,people in that institution need more in service on how to welcum guests.

Our little boy Benji was not eating which is unusual for and Dr Tammy sorted him in no time. He is back to his normal self again. She is so friendly and caring towards the animals. Fantastic service. Highly recommend. 🐾🐾🐾

Dr. Tammy spayed my Gabby and did a great job. Gabby had no pain at all and one can hardly see the incision. The entire team is so helpful and kind. They treated my dog like she was part of their family. Thank you for the wonderful service.

My family have always been very loyal to and supportive of this vet and have spent thousands on their animals here. I too have always supported this vet and have always regarded them very highly. I supported them when I stayed in South Africa and moved to Botswana in 2017, but always take my dog to them when visiting my family.Being stuck in South Africa since March due to lockdown, I’ve needed to refill his medication for CHF every month. 15 Furosemide and 30 Enapril 10mg costs R136.32 including dispensing fees. On collecting his furosemide on 11/07/2020, I was charged R473.80. The last time I collected his medication, he had his vaccinations (R781.90) as I had finally received my passport and was planning to get back to my country of residence, Botswana. I could only be given half as it was suggested that I bring him in for a R600 blood test. This does not even include the R455 consult that would more than likely be added onto the fee. Luckily, I was able to speak to a Dr who assisted me with his medication as it is imperative that he take it. Being stuck in South Africa for 8 months has been expensive and I had to drive back home from Durban, so naturally couldn’t afford to spend thousands at the vet as I needed to see my vet in Gabs for her to do a checkup on return.I contacted the vet to obtain a Veterinary Health Certificate in the hopes that they could assist me before my State Vet appointment. I was then told that this would cost a further R455 plus R280.I fully understand that it takes years of study to be a vet, but feel very much disappointed that under these difficult circumstances with being stuck in RSA and trying to get home for 8 months and given the fact that my pensioner parents as well as myself have been loyal customers, that the vet couldn’t attempt to be a little more helpful.Update Tuesday 03/11/2020 - I ended up taking my dog to Montclair Animal Hospital without making an appointment. They were able to accommodate me with no issue doing a full health check and issued me with the Veterinary Health Certificate within 30 minutes at a small cost of R124.00 only.Update Tuesday 03/11/2020 - received a call from a Tammy. I was not even given an opportunity to speak. I have never, as a customer been spoken to in that manner. Horrendous customer service. Very disappointed! This has only encouraged me to never go back.Update Tuesday 03/11/2020 - Email received not conducive to maintaining good relations with clients. The email tone did not even attempt to resolve any issue. I have never requested that your practice do anything that is not within the confines of the law and I was under the impression that because my pet had recently been to you for a checkup and vaccinations, you were familiar with his health condition. I am not a vet, the procedure to obtain the health certificate was explained to me, which I accepted. The issue was always the cost. As mentioned before, please refer to your records of how much we have spent at your practice. Not once, did you or any other vet at your practice offer to relook at pricing for the certificate.By posting that I requested that you act outside of the confines of the law is a lie and is honestly just diverting attention away from what the actual issue was. Perhaps it’s best we use the services of a vet that makes top quality healthcare affordable and accessible to everyone. Thank you for your time.

I really was impressed by the staff at Seadoone Veterinarian , from the young lady at Reception to the attending doctor / vet , who were friendly and professional. Our little doggie was treated very gently. I can recommend this Veterinary ( Seadoone Veterinary) for your pet.

Nicely laid out practise. But pedantic about filling in all the forms etc. At reception. Once thats done the doctor was good and had a nice manner with the dog. She did a thorough examination and prescribed appropriate medication. Vets in this area are not cheap $$$ 👍👍👍👍

Did not phone them recently but from experience a while ago they were very helpful and understanding and explained what you need to know.
