Lukas and Vanessa estate agents went the extra mile to put my house on as many platforms as possible. Professional but with my needs at heart. They included a video and photos done by a photographer.This ReMax goes out of its way to keep me informed of progress on possible customers. I am living in the Western Cape but have peace of mind my house in Scottburgh is in good hands

We responded to a pictorial add of a property. We made an appointment to see said property. Upon arrival we were absolutely disgusted at the state of the property. Accoding to the pictures it looked well kept and clean. This was not the case when we arrived. The place is a crumbling dump and not fit for living in. We were conned by an unscrupulous agent who did not upload the most recent pictures, but used very old ones instead. She did not warn us about the bad state it is in, instead let us drive a 4 hour round trip allowing us to waste our petrol to view a derelict house. We were duped and feel so angry and let down by ReMax. We will be reporting this issue to their controlling body. Be careful they do not have integrity.

No entry or exit inspection done, now they refuse to pay back our deposit of R15 000. They are literally breaking laws and have been reported to the rental tribunal. DO NOT do business with them, they will take your money and refuse to pay it back. We have proof of all of this. What they are doing is ILLEGAL. The agents have no knowledge of laws and some are not licensed (as per the agents board). They are rude and condescending and very unprofessional.I repeat, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.We are now forced to go through the rental tribunal and small claims court to get our money, rental tribunal is also in agreement that what they are doing is illegal. Stay far away unless you enjoy sitting in court.
