Convenient fun place to unwind and enjoy yourself after an exhausting week

Definitely loads of fun, the rink was pretty quiet but a quiet rink is as enjoyable for tricks and a bit of speed! The ice could be a bit more polished and have less ridges but other then that it was great fun

Big ice rink and safe for children

Sad to say but this worst ice rink Ive been to ,non of the skates are sharp enough to actually enjoy yourself on the ice ,its sad because ppl were struggling to skate but a big part of that was the Terrible skates having no grip at all on the ice,Im not best skater in the world but I do know how to skate and know sharp useable skates and skates that are just dangerous to use ,and those are fore sure really dangerous

Took our daughters to have some fun and that they did indeed. There was no time limit to how long they could skate and that they did until they got too tired. For my younger one it was her first experience on the ice, and the penguin skating aid one can hire was just perfect as it boosted her confidence and after an hour, she could try skating on her own.The entry fee was reasonable for the no time limit. Toilets was clean and well maintained. Staff was helpful and dispensed plasters freely.Ample seating for shows and the kiosk was well stocked.

Great fun if you dont mind falling over a few times at first. No time limit. Really reasonable prices. Hired skates arent cleaned and do smell. Ice could be in a better condition but its not terrible. Anyway, just go out and enjoy yourself. A little ice and smelly skates wont kill you.

I have been skating for round about 7 years and I have never in my life been in a ice rink that is this hot, it feels absolutely terrible and the ice is basically water. The ice rink is really tiny and a terrible place to try to learn. I am really disappointed because it is a really mice location but the experience is terrible.

This is a fun, and vibey place to visit. Kids and parents can have an equally fun filled experience. The entrance fee is only R50 pp which is very reasonable. The place is well maintained, clean and safe. I really think that this is a great place to spend a few hours for both young and old.

Helpful friendly staff.

Waste of time travelling there and having to pay R80 per person only to get inside and find that the few penguins they had were being rented to adults on the rink. These are supposed to be aids for children, instead they were left stranded for the afternoon on what was supposed to be a day of excitement. Either provide more penguins or rent them to children only.

I do figure skating so I love the ice.💕 The ice management isnt that good there and it is quite annoying as weve had to cancel our practise a couple of times. The ice rink is about 1/3 of an olympic sized rink(or Durbans Ice Rink if youve been there) but that doesnt really bother me. This Ice Rinks shop doesnt sell much either and they only SELL(not rent) their boots girls - size 5, boys - size 7(I think) Im size 7 and needed to get my own pair of skates. I had to go all the way to Durban Ice Rink to get my boots.

Kids loved it and the rink offers 1ht sessions s to learn how to skate.

Melted ice due to long running skate sessions. The blades on the rented skates were dulled to the point that they were flat. If you want it sharpened, there is an additional fee that you need to pay.A bad skate experience. Not worth the price.

Love going there. Need some minor repairs but a lovely place to get together with friends and family.

It was the worst ice skating experience ever. It wasnt cold enough so the ice began to slowly melt, the ice on the side was brown and unleveled and the ice was full of holes making people trip and fall and the rink itself isnt that big so it was very crowded. In short, the ice rink is neglected and poorly managed.

Really good experience and the pricing is also quite reasonable. Will be visiting again.

At the end of the day we ended up not entering mainly on account of the price (Its very expensive for ice skating), however, I may have been persuaded if the ice looked in better condition.

Please dont go to the ICE RINK at Galleria, my mothers bag as well as 2 other girls bags were stolen and the ice rink did not want to take an responsibility at all.
