Hubby and I simply love this place and come back time and again when possible. Beautiful clean rooms, comfortable beds and rooms with an breathtaking view. Delicious breakfast, helpful and friendly staff and the most amazing hostess Pamela!

Pam and her team were amazing from day one to the very last day i stayed there. Mind you i stayed there for about 5 weeks. Pam even helped me to look for a safe place around the area to rent. I must pay you a visit soon. Thanks again Pam and your amazing team. 💞

From the time of my arrival to check out the management and staff gave us the best service ever. The breakfast was freshly prepared on a daily basis and it was delicious. The views were great and we got to see dolphins and whales. Pamela and staff thanks for making our stay a memorable one. We will definitely visit you guys again.

Friendly homely feeling from the time you check into the time you check out. The food is outstanding which gives you a real boost for taking on a new day. It is right by the ocean with rooms facing the ocean you wake up to the most beautiful view.

We were here over the Christmas period and we had a great time, everything about Tradewinds is just excellent, from the host (Pam) to all the staff including the security guard they are just friendly and lovely people, excellent services, rooms are very clean, environment perfect for a getaway, breakfast top notch. This is just the best place to stay in Amanzimtoti. We will definitely be back.

What a beautiful B&B with careful attention to detail. As far as B&Bs go I wouldnt say it is one (as I think that word cheapens a place) . It is a lodge and you will not be disappointed. Its view is overlooking the side stretch of beach. There are even binoculars available to borrow from reception! The breakfast is either cooked to order or fruit, cereal and yogurt. The beds feel new and pristine linen. My CEO of the fury motor group stays here and he has the money to stay anywhere Haa.

Simple but very likeable place. Very good device and nice staff. Ive just think the breakfast is far too simple. Some more continental European style breakfast would be nice.

Rooms are a little outdated, service very average. Nice views from the bedroom (sea facing) Cant compliment the food as we missed breakfast due to cut off not being relayed to us. Be sure to ask before the time, they will not remind you... Quite pricey for what you get in my opinion.

Not a bad place to stay at for work traveling. I had a street view and the cars racing up and down the road at night was very load in the room.

That place, the owner, staff and their service, environment are to die for. I would like to encourage anyone who wants a cool place to relax anytime of the year to visit Tradewinds Lodge in Amanzimtoti. Its been two years since we are visiting the place with my family in December, it seems like it will be our holiday home in KZN each year.
