Every time me and my family went to this store prices on the shelf doesnt ring up the Same at the till point and if you dont query it you get over charged and you always get charged more then whats advertised its day light robbery

True story. I found some printers on special at game which was describe has being demo models.When I got home, I found that there were no cartridges in one of them and it needed 4. I didn’t have the time to go back so I bought the cartridges. Costed me R1200 + delivery.When I put the cartridges in and turned it on, it made a continuous grating sound until I turned the power off. I found out that the roller was damaged.I took it back and they booked it for repairs. I asked the guys where the cartridges were and I learnt that the printer was not a demo model and that they gave the cartridges to the customer who returned it with a new printer.About 4 months later I received a call saying that the parts are not available and they will refund me. I’m already more than R1200 down and made three trips to their store in between all of this.I treated the situation kindly by offering them more time to resolve it but they were adamant that it was not repairable.Now the manager, Peter Mackay, fully aware that I’ve bought a set of cartridges, looks at my receipt and asks me, do you always buy things which are on special, to which I should have asked, do you always put broken stuff up for sale and inconvenience your customers.He then asks the lady at the till for the price of a new one. She replies R1600. He then offers me a new one at R1000. I’m no genius mathematician but R1200 for a broken printer, R1200 for new cartridges, and another R1000 Rand does not add up to R1600.Great saving. In between all of this I buy a Lawnmower for R3299 and some other stuff. A few days later I check my invoice and they charged me R3499 so I had to drive back to them.My wife asks me, do you get the impression like we are at fault. I oversee a store myself so I’m very forgiving but this is truly bad service. Otherwise, I really beautify store and some very help staff.

I have honestly never encountered such poor service at a shop before. The store is clean and well stocked but I felt like I was asking the staff to go out of their way to give me minor assistance. I understand that things are different during these times but wow, it was awful. I wanted to buy an exercise bike and after waiting for 5 minutes for assistance, I asked the guy that was cycling and on his phone if he knew someone that could assist me... turns out, he did work there (just had a different jacket on).I went to purchase an office chair afterwards and when I had chosen one from the demos, I asked the sales assistant where I could find the actual product so that I could purchase it. He pointed at a shelf underneath the chairs and said there. It was clear that I was struggling to get the box out as it was really heavy but he really didnt seem to care.I probably wouldve received better service if I asked a customer for help.

A great store but very unhelpful assistants. They are rude and bluntly tell you they cant help you, yet when you talk to the managers they easily and quickly help. The sulky faces are a real turn off. The store itself has a well stocked variety of goods, appliances, fresh food etc. It would have been a real pleasure to shop here if someone trained the staff and cashiers to smile a little and to greet their customers. I felt like it was too much work to extract a hello, even though I cheerfully greeted them. A real put off.

Poor customer service, I went there to buy 2 plates gas stove and the fan there was no one to assist, Red alert security tried to call them them for me they were not interested. I can only give you 2 stars for cleaners and the security

Never purchase a product from Verimark inside Game Stores. Bought R2k Genesis machine that stopped working less than 2 months. Brought to store of purchase. Informed by both Verimark Rep and store manager (Collin) that the procedure is to book item in, wait about 2 weeks as they will send product for assessment. To come back in 2 weeks to maybe get a replacement or refund. The issue is the return policy and time frame for repairs is totally unacceptable and not in line with the spirit of the CPA. a complete relook of returns policy of both Game Stores and Verimark required.

I purchased a tv on Saturday and paid for delivery and it was suppose to be delivered today Monday 30 November I even took a day off at work expecting the delivery but when I call customer care I spoke to a lady who doesnt even speak clear english telling me I am wrong the delivery is not for today but the paperwork says 30 November....This is totally unacceptable I cant take another day off at work to sit the whole day not knowing when my item is going to be delivered!!!

Have you ever been treated so badly at a restaurant/shop that you just get up and leave, flipping off every staff member you pass on your way out? If not then this game branch offers that whole experience for free. All you have to do is go in and try to buy something with the mindset of creating a valuable revenue stream for a company creating jobs.Jokes aside, I think these guys genuinely believe that they are doing you a favor by taking your hard earned money that you can go spend literally anywhere else. So come on guys, dont overburden them with more money, rather go somewhere else.

Ashay from the cell phone department helped me with my query with excellent satisfactory results to my problem, he stayed online till the entire issue was resolved, hats off to the excellent service of this game staff, highly recommend the cellphone /laptop department at Game galleria mall!!!

Worst customer service from both staff and management. Staff want to make sales but lack the customer relations and service. Management have a dont care attitude and belittle the staff.

If assistant cannot answer questions, they always summon higher staff. Rarely assuming knowledge of what they do not know. Such honesty instills confidence and trust.

Now with the bakery and fresh produce sections added it can be one stop shopping!

False advertising and when asked an unfriendly assistant to help said an item was not on sale and there are no game papers available to verify my claim and she just walked away went to another section of the shop this time there are no assistants to help customers are looking lost throughout this store on a different day the cashier tells me its not her job to take my its out of basket it was literally a basket with four things in it WORST GAME STORE EVER.

Shocking service from game staff. Called store before we went and phone wasn’t answered. Couldn’t find staff willing to assist at all and general attitude of staff was appalling . Spoke to floor manager Collin who was polite and apologetic. Service in other stores in the Centre had far better service and service at Game was a stark contrast to this. Service levels this bad are unacceptable, Game. I hope you will take this constructive criticism to heart and work to improved service levels in your Galleria branch.

Never had a good experience here. Theres always a problem finding somebody to assist and many times when they are around you are ignored. More often than not stock of promotional items is unavailable and you are asked to collect from another store, the warehouse, or wait a week or so for your purchase to arrive.

I bought a fridge 6 days ago. No delivery. No answering my emails. If I had known the delivery service was this bad I would have found a place elsewhere. I am totally disgusted.

Worst experience ever dealing with your stand in manager Kogila Chetty. Absolutely rude woman that has no sense of time or convenience. I came in to fetch my credit for an Xbox that could not be repaired and was advised to bring all accessories with. I was not told to bring the game that initially came with the purchase 4 years ago. She literally argued and shouted at me until I chose to just leave. The next day I came back and she did not even greet let alone assist me even though she was standing and looking at me.I was appalled, such an individual should not be working in customer service let alone be managing it. Pathetic, please rectify this before it happens to anyone else.

Very large supply store. Everything from hammers, to TV, to electrical appliances to camping or office furniture. Clean grocery store on side. Plenty of special offers. Very helpful staff.

The service here in December is very bad... There are no assistants... Customers are looking all over with no help from assistants...and where appliances are being bought there is only 1 till that is working out of 7 tills...

Prices are not that good, majority items are substantially cheaper directly below at checkers hyper. Unless its on special rather take a escalator ride downstairs and enjoy cheaper prices.

It is the second time in less then a month I have had a bad experience with Game Gallaria, as for the receptionist answering the phone, honestly need to go for training, no people skills what so ever.
