Service was great. Great staff. Never got to a meal. Load shedding is the pits. Was hoping for the Eishbein. Messages to Management to put alternate options solar, generator, etc. People go to eat. Load shedding is here to stay.

This branch is more of a bar than a family restaurant. My kids who are still in primary found it too dark and uncomfortable previously and this time we went with my husband. I had steak and ribs, steak was perfect medium to well done the meat of the ribs fell off the bone but had no taste. The basting sauce was nonexistent. I think they should brighten up some sections a bit unless they like the idea of it looking like a bar.

Loved it! We were there for the Bok van Blerk show. The service was excellent!

Bad service, they really slow, the ribs and wings we had tasted old and they were lumpy I wasnt impressed at all.. Also other people who got there first got their food quicker than us... It took more than an hour for us the get our food.. At least the lady that was serving us was kind otherwise the manager didnt even bother asking us if we were okay she would keep passing us and moving to other tables checking if they okay... Like really! Wow😏

This is an awesome place to chill. Good vibes and good music.Affordable menu and large portions. Nice variety of meals to choose from. Their pizzas was the best. Friendly service and waiters.Food and drinks prepared without a long wait. Definitely going to be one of my favorite hangout spots.

Service was very slow, often called waitress and she ignored us,no name badges or introduction to know who is who, our drinks and food took some time,menus were left on the table the whole time, couldve been better.

This Dros is really awesome, its a huge restaurant so loads of space.The kids play area kept my kids busy the whole time.The food is amazing also, would definitely recommend this Dros for a place to go grab some good food and let the kids play so you and your partner can enjoy some good QT

Food was great, waitress friendly and was very pleasant atmosphere.

We were at there on Sunday the 22nd of August. The service was very bad, firstly they gave me an expired drink (brutal friut) then our food took forever. We were there at 2:15 pm, the waitress took our ordered at 3:40 and only got our food at around 4:30 cold and very horrible. The supervisor or manager lady was not of much help she was very rude instead. Never going back there again. EVER!!!!! Would give 0 star if it was possible...

The food here is impeccable. The service top class. Our waitress, Danika, is one of the best waitresses weve had the pleasure of meeting. If youre in the area, a definite must....look out for the daily specials and events happening.

This place is okay for me. The T-bone special was okay. Chef cooked it well however the food was cold on arrival. Also, brace yourself when asking for tabasco sauce, it comes in small sachets and we had to keep asking for more. They only bring you one at a time. I think this is a place for people lookingfor a watering hole though.

I requested them to just write Happy Anniversary on our dessert, since it was our 6th wedding anniversary. It was done reluctantly and the spelling was wrong. I will never go to that place again

So glad Alberton has a DROS again !!! Very Impressed , everything brand new and the ambiance differs from cosy / home inside to enjoy the sunshine outside, outside you could be fooled that your relaxing at the beachfront. The outside bar gives that Mediterranean effect, very nicely done. Inside at most of the tables there is PowerPoints / USB - connectors, so you can charge your cell phone / laptop...….VERY COOL !!! We ordered the Calamari & Chips and the 2 Pizza Specials, No fault to be found Good Job. We had only 1 hiccup ….we were charged incorrectly for some items on the bill...….went back there and explained my problem to 1 of the Front of House Managers, in less than 7 mins. I was refunded the amount difference, Excellent. And if your looking for a state of the art Salad Bar your need to get there, the options are endless. This was a very pleasant experience.

The food was good but the service was terrible. We waited hours for our food and could never get the attention of our waitress. When we did, our order was forgotten and often never brought to us. It was quite frustrating for everyone at the table. Wouldnt go back here any time soon. This happened on the 1st of May.

We had a lovely day with the ladies and we enjoyed the baby shower for our friend, great stuff always checking on us if westill okay.

My experience was absolutely terrible. On the 1st of May, NOT mothers day, i went with about 10 people incl 2 children. I waited an hr after everyone elses drinks were served to be able to order mine. And i arrived the same time as the rest. After trying to get the waitresses attention many times and and speaking yo the waitress, one of the people in my group looked for what i would think is the manager 2 or 3 times for help. The service was terrible. They used the excuse they were busy but had calmed down and they will be faster but yet we still had to keep waiting. The waitress kept dissappearing after being asked for ice or something to drink for the children. Just for a drink and 1 meal each we were there for more that 3 hours mostly waiting on service. My sister put up a review a little while ago. Stating the date of which this happened and the excuse of mothers day was busy came up. Even though this was not mothers day. Even if it was, Service is pathetic for a place that would expect to be busy. Will not recommended at all.

Absolutely horrible!!!! Wish I could do a zero star.. My wifes stake was so salty that she could not eat it.! My kids toys went missing giving it to the child minder and the waitress went looking for it with a excuse??. We ended up giving the entire take away to the staff and was still charged the full bill as we were put off by the disgusting service!. We still gave the waitress a tip of R100 and was told to leave laughing behind our backs in front of my kids and wife.

Rudest manager I have ever come across. My wifes steak was completely raw that it was purple. When politely asking the manager to help she argued rudely that it wasnt raw. After this we just canceled that order and my wife didnt even eat. My meal has given me food poisoning. Then having the waitress blocked to serve us we had to go ask for our bill at the front. With the rude manager even saying oh you will still there I didnt even see you anymore. I was so looking forward to supporting a restaurant after lockdown but just got treated rudely and paid a big amount for food poisoning. Skip this restaurant unless u want just to go out for a drink and a plate of chips.

The service is pretty friendly and efficient but they are thieves and charge your card more than the amount that you write on the bill including the tip. Zero vibe, the place was completely empty. The worst eisbein I have ever had in my entire life as well as the most disgusting apple sauce in the world to accompany it. I am not surprised we were the only people in the restaurant, this is the worst restaurant Ive ever been to and does not deserve to still be in business especially stealing from their customers.

Atmosphere was good but the food was just too bland for my liking.

Can highly recommend The Dros in Alberton, the food is delicious, plenty of choice. Service is 5 star, especially waitresses Melanie and Giddo did an amazing job on serving 16 people. Thank you to management for your assistance with our function. Will most definitely eat there again.

Reception and service was good. Food freshly prepared and all covid-19 protocols adhered to. Not too crowded or noisy, which is a good thing.

Never have I felt so unwelcome and unwanted by rude managers and management/owners who stick up for one another when they feel it best suits them. Always remember...CUSTOMER IS KING! Without them your business will falter and die! Word of mouth is a powerful tool and Im so happy that Google provides this platform for the whole world to see what TERRIBLE service is!

Couldnt handle the amount of people. Cheese sauce didnt taste anything like cheese sauce. People waited forever for certain dishes. Some dishes came out cold. Waiting for ever for a normal cooldrink. Not impressed.
