All I can say is WOW!!! Friendly staff, excellent customer service and the facilities definitely a winner. Last but not least value for the low monthly costs. Love it!!! Thanks a million everyone!

There is a good variety of equipment available to work with but what makes it a stand out for me is the welcoming atmosphere created by both the friendly staff and other gym members.

Very bad gym. Old worn out equipment, lazy staff, poor management, gym is dirty with weights laying everywhere. Probably the worst gym in Alberton

I always enjoy to spend my time at gym company

Implemented a new 50 people only which was none existent. Line to enter is now out to the parking, yet you dont even need a mask yet they have signs stating no mask no entry.

I would avoid the Gym Company all together no matter where they are......They operate like blue collar thieves. still bound by a 3 year contract that ended in feb>>

Staff very committed and professional. Equipment very up to date. I miss the steam room though.

Poor management, poor facilities, poor equipment, poor maintenance, poor staff friendliness, staff arrive late to open the gym and only say sorry as an excuse. If I could rate this gym zero it would be too much...

For the same price and not a 24month contract virgin active is a far better experience

Not much options for the spa when u take platinum membership. Not disclosed when they sell u the contract. Apparently the other branches do. Whats the point when Im in brackenhurst. Other than that.. very average gym. Bathrooms could do with a major upgrade. And maintenance definitely needs to be done on the equipment. So many was out of order!!!!

You go there to cancel a 3 year contract, they deny you and ask that you come back 2 months later...well 2 months later was lockdown level 5....no one to call no email adress on the website, nothing.....they call you a year later to say you still owe money because i never cancelled. But you can not call them, their phones are not working. So i give up

The only Gym company to have actually dropped their standards and quality AFTER it became a franchise. The step machines hydraulics are busted, treadmills are jerky. Other machines more out of order than anything else. Get your act together.

Fairly quitlet when Ive been there, which is a good thing for me.This is a great place to focus on improving yourself as the atmosphere is buzzing with the music that keeps you going.The equipment available is of high quality so that you get the best results.

I was a member of this gym a few years ago. Recently I received a call from a man at the gym who asked why I left the gym, to which I responded that there were always broken machines, and that there were always scheduling conflicts with the room where I wanted to do yoga. He ensured me that the machines were all new and in working order, and that there were no conflicts, and in fact, management had changed and the staff too.He invited me for a tour of the gym the next day in hopes that I would reconsider my opinion and rejoin. In fact, I had been intending to start yoga classes anyway, and I remembered that the yoga instructor, Colleen, was fantastic. I had really enjoyed her classes in years past and I confirmed via the class schedule that Colleen is still the instructor. I went to The Gym Company the next day having already decided that I would join. I only needed to do the paperwork.At the gym, I was given a brief tour in which I discovered that the machines were indeed new and in working order, however, as I repeatedly informed the gym employee, I was literally only interested in attending the yoga classes. The employee insisted that I circle some other classes which I might want to attend, and that I attend classes which (as I informed him) were outside of my available times. He was rather bossy and pushy, and made a vaguely insulting comment about my hair (we all go through our phases). I also discovered that the manager of the gym is the same manager as before and that the employee I was dealing with had been there for many years and apparently remembered me from when I had been a member.The employee then asked me about my fitness goals, to which I replied that I had none and only wanted to do some yoga for relaxtion. He asked me what my body transformation goals were, to which I replied that I had none; I just want to do some yoga, man. Then, he asked me what my happy weight was. I beg your pardon? Happy weight. The weight you would be happy at. So I told him my current weight and that I was happy with it. I dont want or need to lose any weight. I want to do yoga for relaxation. He then suggested a weight four kilograms lower than my current weight, as a happy weight. Well, thank you for insinuating that I shouldnt be happy with my weight and guiding me on the appropriate weight. Youve now insulted both my hair and my weight on top of trying to tell me what I want, when I told you what I want.I walked out of that gym which I had every intention of joining, and I will never set foot inside there again. You will see none of my patronage. I was left with an awful taste in my mouth.One star is for the machines that arent broken and the other is for the wonderful yoga instructor whose classes I will now not get to attend. Thanks, Gym Company.

Absolutely disgusting. Their staff are rude. They keep denying my access to the gym even after I’ve paid for it. Not customer friendly at all. Don’t recommend them at all. Terrible service

I think the gym needs to make sure that members spend an hour so that we can all get in, make sure there are no people who are taking bath with sanitizers because that in fact takes our time standing on the queue. Give numbers and tell them that their number after an hour should give way and open up space for other members... Thank you!

Dirty gym. Ladies bathroom are terrible.Super unorganized, no ventilation, aircons are never on, gym equipment are broken.Not worth it at all. If I could give a 0star i wouldOnly Good thing is the friendly adorable reception ladies. I swear they the only people actually doing there jobs

Been back and forth with them and still havent received the appropriate information regarding my payments, i get charged but it doesnt show on their system so they are quick to blacklist you for payments not shown on their system because its either down or slow
