Trolleys are not always cleaned. Thanks to Covi we clean then ourselves for healthy reasons. FLM should also do deep cleaning of these trolleays. They just turn me off!

I must praise/congratulate Food Lovers Market New Market today, Saturday 5 June 2021 - because it was the very first time that their baked goods LOOKED DELICIOUS! I was skeptical because of previous disappointments and as a Baker myself - it must look good AND taste good too - boy, today you bowled me over BECAUSE ALL TASTES ABSOLUTELY DIVINE!! Well done! The Apple Slice is FULL of apple and spices - yummy! The big Portugese Custard Slice - oh my goodness... no words. Its fresh AND DID NOT TASTE ARTIFICIAL at all. Well done guys, PLEASE keep it up! Im definitely coming back when Im too lazy to bake those goods myself😊

I love their combos on fresh fruits and vegetables, their fresh cut meat and fresh bakery and the best part is now they have fresh spices that you can buy per kg and their staff are always friendly and professional.

The tellers are not sure of all the specials and there tills are not programmed or updated with the specials, so it seems to take long when scanning items at the till and then you not sure if they rang up everything correctly

Your security system is totally bonkers....exactly who qualify to be stopped and searched by your exit doors cause today I was the only one who had their bag ravaged by your security...why not get those scarnners instead of harrassing us.

Good. This food lovers is rarely ever crowded, but somehow the checkout almost always has a queue. Everything else about the shop is good though

Trying to be upmarket but honestly the veg and fruit is usually a disappointment--moments away from being overripe and if not it is overpriced. but GREAT staff and because of the location I end up here often despite disappointment--the health food section is well priced and so are the other staples

I was mistreated by a security guard at Food Lovers Market New Market.I was doing my top up shopping with my mother on the 18th of January, as we didnt get everything that we were looking for we decided to only take the garlic cloves, ginger & prickly pear.When we joined the queue, the security lady asked if we are leaving the trolley behind I said yes.On our exit, we were stopped to be searched, with surprise I looked around to see if everyone was being searched & to my astonishment no other people were being searched & I asked the security guard why are we being searched & he couldnt explain why. He only said maybe its because of the size of the handbag you are holding.

Its out of my way to go but once me and hubby are there we are glad we made the effort tk buy our monthly meat supply. I also like to take them up on their R50 deals when it comes to fruit combos. I was just disappointed with the nuts as it was on special and when I went to other shops it was cheaper.
