Dr Araujo treated my wife over the last few weeks.Losing her teeth late last year was already traumatic, but after poor treatment and botched up dentures by another practice, I cannot begin to tell you what that did to her self-confidence and general well-being.From day 1 until this morning it was an absolute pleasure to deal with your practice and, of course, THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH, Dr Araujo – you really put the smile back on her dial!

The ladies at reception have a horrible attitude. There is no equipment in place for a power outage. I had an appointment and was never contacted that there is a power outage. I got there on time and they simply said no power. Very bad attitude.

Went to get my teeth fixed. They just made it worse. New cracks new holes in teeth. Went back, they charged again after I said they messed up my teeth even worse. Wont be back. Looking for a new dentist now.

R4500 off our medical savings and I have never had so much toothache. The Dr and staff are so friendly, but ultimately its about the end result. Went there with no serious pains or issues, just concerned about a few cracks in my front teeth and a general check up. The Dentist reckoned he couldnt do anything about the cracks, but suggested the Hygienist, as she will be able to build it up. In the meantime he injected a numbing agent and fixed 3 holes. He suggested I get a bite plate as it might be causing damage to my cracked teeth due to grinding and went ahead with the mould. My appointment was at 07:30 and I was home (few km’s) before 08:00. They charge for an hour. Once the numbing agent wore off, the pain was unbearable. Did some reading and it became clear I had to wait 4-6 weeks after a filling to know if something is wrong. Something is wrong. Previously I only had to avoid eating chocolate because of one tooth. I have not been able to eat anything on my left side, due to the three teeth being filled, since the visit. I had to return the following day for the Hygienist appointment. Went for the Hygienist appointment and she scrubbed away. At the end, I had to ask her why she did not do the filling on the knacked teeth. Because it wasnt in my file. So she made it worse by scrubbing remaining enamel and exposing the teeth. She had no advice, as she doesnt have a solution. She ended up putting a wax type temporary protective layer on the top two teeth, forgetting about the bottom ones. I was on food through a straw for days. The bite plate does not sit well. I was given the plate because of grinding my maulers, yet there is a gap in that part of the plate, so when I grind, it pushes the plate forward and I wake up to new kinds of toothaches. I dont want to go back, because its really expensive and I am not sure they will be able to fix it without causing more harm. Now I have to find someone new to trust to fix it, without forking out the last bit of our medical savings.
