Take it from someone who used to go this pre-school (around 2003-2011), its horrible. While I was a learner there, most of the teachers were impatient, rude and didnt even deserve the honor of being called teachers. They would almost never take the time to listen to what we, as kids, had to say. Few of those teachers treated us with respect, making us feel as though we werent inferior to them. There was an unspoken rule of having to EARN the teachers respect. Having a problem teaching your kids about sharing? Dont worry. At this place, if your child brings their toys to school and refuses to share whats rightfully theirs, you can count on a teacher being there to yank the toy out of their tiny hands and then hand it to the other child (who came to the teacher, complaining about wanting to play with the toy that you, as a parent, paid for). You can ALSO count on never seeing that toy ever again! I know this, because this used to happen to me every time I brought my toys to school with me and thats how my toy laptop got stolen. BUT WAIT...THERES MORE. If you thought that your child being forced to share what they dont have to, with people they dont like, BY THE VERY PEOPLE YOU TRUSTED WITH YOUR CHILDS LIFE - try checking out their sadistic principal, Auntie Laurena. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT TRUST HER OR HER HUSBAND, PAUL. Their two-faced jerks, who only see the school as a business and not a place to help kids develop. Theyre worse than all the bad teachers there, combined. Laurena, who somehow got a qualification to be a Grade R teacher, will never treat your kids the same way she does in class, in your presence. I remember being 8 years old and doing homework in the after-care, when I would often be flicked (by her freakishly long nails) on my ears, my head and the hairline between my ponytails...oh and I would get slapped too. The reason? I was daydreaming and working too slow. And whenever I would tell my parents about what she did, she would just switch to emotional abuse (using words). Then there wouldnt be any physical evidence. And she would sarcastically tell me to go tell my parents about it, as though she was threatening to do something to me if I did. And I was just a scared little girl. What else could I do? Luckily I was able to escape during 3rd Grade, when my parents decided that enough was enough. I salute anyone who took the time to read this entire review. It shows that you truly care about the school you put your child in.
