What a beautiful experience, set in a tranquil environment, close to amenities but yet out of the hustle and bustle of the city. The host is passionate about ensuring that guests have an amazing experience..... what a pleasure.Great care has been taken to theme each room to match the desired experience one envisages. Rooms are in mint condition.Great value for money, highly recommend.

Negative: Room 11, it had a funny smell and the bedding needs to be remove to white ones. Why are the rooms at the bottom not the same as the rooms at the top? Even if the are superior, I believe there should be consistency in how the rooms look. The other issue is the key... Room 11 and 12 share a key... Please look into that..

Thank you Nigel for giving us a home away from home. A Knights rest guest is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Everything about this place was on point. From beautifully decorated rooms, to modern bathrooms and furnishing. The breakfast was fresh and hot and there was lots of variety to choose from for peacky eaters. The staff was polite and helpful. Did i mention the location?Perfect! Close enough to everything ,yet far enough from the noise to give you that calming nights rest. We will definately be back next year.

We’ve stayed in many establishments but we were overwhelmed by the hospitality of Carol & Nigel who made us feel like long lost friends. We decided that A Knights Rest is our new home whenever we in Pretoria. Thanks guys.

Nice . relaxed atmosphere. I especially liked the large Lapa where breakfast and meals are served. Knights Rest is not Licensed but one is able to buy drinks across the road and enjoy in the Lapa while interact with other guests or simply watching some sport on the TV.

A Knightsrest Guest House Review:Nestling in the heart of Pretoria North in the shadow of the Magaliesberg Mountain Range, lies A Knightsrest Guest House. The guest house while relatively private, is also an ideal meeting place and venue for either private and small corporate year-end and other functions, weddings and birthday celebrations, networking opportunities, making new friends and renewing old acquaintances.Carol Smith, is a service oriented and gracious hostess who is passionate about people, easily accessible and always receptive to the guests, anticipating their every need. The internal and external non-smoking rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious, and are well-resourced with either one or two queen-sized beds, en-suite shower and ablution facilities, a bar fridge, tea and coffee facilities and DSTV, while the external rooms also provide access to a small patio where patrons are able to relax as they inhale the fresh evening or morning air, listening to the sounds of chirping birds while reading a book or simply just having a smoke. The two-storey guesthouse is generally disability-friendly with access ramps and accessible rooms on the ground floor.Access to the enclosed and secure premises is facilitated through an intercom system and automated gate with ample parking for guests. The ambience of the guest house is further accentuated by a large lapa immediately adjacent to the guest house, also incorporating a bar facility, for use in events, including meetings, small group conferences and planning sessions, with meal facilities; and a pagola beneath which facilities for relaxing in relative shade or sunlight are provided and which overlook the pool area.My relationship with A Knightsrest Guest House encompasses a period in excess of fifteen years during which Ive been a frequent guest at the establishment. And apart from numerous intermittent weekend getaways, during that time, Carol and her team have also hosted two memorable events both of which have left an indelible impression on me and the more than 100 other guests in attendance from all across the country; namely, my wedding ceremony and reception in 2004, and my fiftieth (50th) birthday celebration in 2011.Through the years, I have also had occasion to attend numerous themed family, and other functions, all of which have been similarly wonderful and auspicious experiences.I have no reservations in recommending a Knightsrest Guest House as my preferred venue in Pretoria.

On my many business and other trips to this area the host has been very professional , pleasant and accommodating. The staff are always polite, helpful and professional. They are always willing to go the extra mile. The location of the guest house is centrally situated inline with my business needs. The bookings have been well facilitated eventhough at times my booking arrangements were not made timeoulsly. The rooms are well presented and are always very clean. The outside area is tropical and tranquil and helped me to relax and unwind at the end of a very busy, tiresome day. When on business trips which I have been doing for the passed three years I only use aKnightsrest.I will always recomend to collegues and others to stay at aKnightsrest
