Their prawns are second to none, the staff were superb, I had a wonderful lunch there, I will do it again and again!!!

The service was completely poor, whilst ordering one of the waiters brings reserved signs, tells us we have 20 minutes to finish our meal because the seat will be reserved for someone else (the order hasnt even arrived yet).The Feta cheese went off, they blamed it on the water it was laying in, it went completely off.Couldnt finish my meal, never returning to this place

Wish they would look at the waitors.. There appearance, breath.. And whether there fingers is in the face/nose/ears or hair.. My waitor had bad breath and a guy working in the back kept on scratching in his face. The sushi shef did well and the food were not to bad. But people /staff can make or break a restaurant.

Best sushi and combo meals. Great service. If you live in the Northern suburbs of Pretoria and you feel like great sushi, this is the place to go to.

Terrible service and food. The standard has dropped even lower than my last visit two years ago. Theres a Chinese place a few kilometres away that is far better.

Had stopped using John Dorys because of service issues and that theif food was not fresh. Last weeks experience was a complete Wow fresh food and great customer service. Exactly what i wished for. Thank you John Dorys and see you soon.

It is difficult to fault john dorys unless maybe you are unlucky and get an inexperienced assistant food serving technologist going through turbulent mood swings. The food is always mcwaaaaaa and management always on point. a drink spilled on my wifes dress and the manager was quick to assist and to offer us a free voucher for a discounted meal on our next visit.....awesome atmosphere
