Lovely inexpensive getaway in a tranquil setting. Amazing hosts with great knowledge of the area and very accommodating. Worth a visit.

Worst place to ever book the owners are the worst owners you could probably get. as Im writing this review i read other reviews where people complained about the same things. we arrived there Friday the 22/01/2021. Friday night they broke in and stole everything we had, wallets, cellphones, ipads, gaming headsets,handbags ect!owners said ( This place is safe we have two armed responses driving in and out 24/7) ..... Yawn, Yea Right, LENMORE CLOSE YOUR DAME DOOR!

Terrible experience, don’t ever go here. The website looks amazing, but is far out dated it does not look like the images at all. No maintenance has been done for at least a decade. When we arrived, someone broke into the chalet and everything was a mess. The first night there was another break in at the restaurant.. There is no fence at all! They put a security gate in front of the door of the chalet.. makes you feel really unsafe. No heater, so really cold inside the chalet. Moved to another chalet, no warm water. Restaurant has only a really small part of the menu card. And besides all of this the chalet are dirty! Really expensive for a bad experience.

Had a really nice steak here. Cooked perfectly, with a good selection of veggies. Not too pricey either. Only complaint was that I missed the sign straight after turning off the main road and found myself on a gravel track. Oh well.

Very, very disappointing! Their website is far from what the place actually is like. It is not self catering at all as stated. There are no utensils, crockery or cutlery. We arrived and the chalets aircon was broken. It was sweltering hot. We were moved to another cabin only to have the aircon leak in that one. Advised the owner who ignored the issue for the entire weekend. Water lay all over the counter and floor. Had to keep trying to mop up. I happened to look under the bed. It had not been cleaned in months. Only one plug could be used out of the 2 they have for the kettle and fridge. The other plug is burnt out and has never been repaired. It is a disgrace and a waste of money.

Lovely garden and interesting deli/shop. Nice to just sit and visit.

Food was pretty good, service was okay but could be better. I was left waiting for my bill for 25+ minutes after requesting it before I just went to get it myself. Convenience shop inside has some basic items as well.

Simple setting but great food and very reasonable prices. King Prawns fantastic and fillet cooked to perfection - cetainly worth a visit.

Good shop, nice surroundings, play area for kids. But the food in the restaurant was quite bad. Actually the worst food experience within 3 weeks. Go there to shop but not to eat. Okay we did not have Pizza, perhaps that was our mistake.

The only reason why I give Lenmore chalets one star is the location close to Addo. The self-catering unit offers furniture and kitchen utensils that may have been found by the Vortrekkers. Plates, glasses etc had to be washed before we could use them. The place didnt look too clean and a total catch of 9 small and one mother of a big cockroach kind of confirmed this. The unit is supposed to sleep 5 adults yet the sleeper couch, another relict from before the crusades, will simply collapse if it has to hold more than 20 kg. Would I stay there ever again? Certainly not.

Burger meat was from freezer with burn, chips doubled as laxatives. Coke, no ice no lemon. On a hot day? Service poor.

Lenmore lived up to the expectaton we had. Perfect food and good wines. Attached to the restaurant is a shop where you can get some supplies, even later on the evening. Id reccommend this place to anyone who is visiting the addo park.

Cheap but decent little restaurant with attached B & B and shop. Local people also eat there. Is run by a nice elderly couple. Cuisine is meat and cheddar but really very good!
